Surprise Meeting, Pepper and Tony Cured

Soon after we named it and nerded out about it for a little Tony quickly set off to grab the second reactor he had created. I projected my En throughout the tower until i found Pepper, she was currently in a meeting with the board of directors and felt her agitation increasing.

I transmitted myself down outside the door to the board of directors' meeting, knocking on it a second later. There was some muffled voices from inside when a secretary opened the door.

"Yes, what is the interruption for?"

"I am here to tell Ms Pepper that her doctor has called and that it is urgent."

"Oh, I'll tell her."

The door closed on me as I moved off to the side and sat down outside on the cushioned seats. Looking around I noticed Pepper's desk secretary working through stacks of paper. She looked rather familiar to me, especially because of her red hair and glistening emerald eyes. As i focused my En towards her I saw that the 'paper' she was reading through was in fact a black tablet with imagery of the penthouse of the tower, the image flickering moments later to the inside of the meeting.

Feeling confident i stood up and walked up to the desk, her facial expressions unchanging as I got closer despite the sense i got from my En that she was hastily stowing away the tablet.

"Hello, can i do anything for you?"

I approached further as she asked the question to me until i was directly in front of her. My eyes scanned her for any weapons and noticed the vague outline of a knife carefully sequestered away on the side of her thigh.

"Yes i was just wondering what Fury was up to... Would you be able to tell me?"

Although her facial expression didn't change one iota i could see with my En that her left hand had dropped to the knife on her thigh.

"I don't remember a man called Fury here at Stark Tower, perhaps you are confused?"

"No, i don't think he works here for Stark, i believe he works for an agency called Shilled? No, SHIELD, yeah that was it. I haven't seen him since he sent a team to rescue Tony in his house at Malibu."

Her arm relaxed somewhat as her eyes narrowed onto me, her mystifying eyes drawing me deeper into her presence. 'Mmm, i like her...' 

"If i were to perhaps know this man that you speak of, what would you want to say to him?"

"Oh you do? That's nice. Well, I'd probably tell him to keep his nose out of other people's business as much as possible and to arrange a meeting, let's say, in two days at the top penthouse of this building?"

"Is that so... Well i don't know this person so unfortunately you were wasting your time..."

"Mhm, sure, no issues... Have fun spying on Pepper and the empty Penthouse."

She glared at me slightly as i went back to my original chair, sitting for but a moment before Pepper came out in a semi-rush, seeing me and instantly walking over.

"Is Tony okay? What happened?"

"He's fine Pepper he solved the Palladium poisoning."

I kept my words in a hushed tone as i noticed Natashia attempting to eavesdrop. Pepper didn't fully understand my change in volume but decided to follow it for safety.

"Really! He did? That's great."

"Yes, so let us go and get you cured as well."

We broke off and headed towards the women's bathroom stalls, entering into one together. Pepper, despite being straight as could be was still affected as she got a smell of me and was in such close proximity. I could smell her wetness, despite my best attempts not to. Attempting to ignore the intoxicating smell I grasped her shoulders with my hands, causing her face to blush slightly, and with a pull on my magic we were now inside the tech lab of Tony. I looked towards Pepper and felt apologetic as she was squirming and had a deeply confused look on her face.

"Sorry Pepper, we have a spy in the building, couldn't take the chance she'd see us teleporting in a corridor."

'Especially because of Hydra...'

"I-i see, it's fine then."

She seemed to settle down as I distanced myself from her. It just so happened that Illyana had teleported beside me as she was settling down. I could feel my own sweat start pooling as i felt her presence, i was very thankful that she was able to calm herself down as quickly as she did.

"Darling! I haven't seen you in days! What's going on?"

"Hey love, don't worry I've just been working with Tony to make his latest suit... Oh yeah, he also cured his Palladium Poisoning meaning Pepper and Tony won't be leaving life so early."

"Great! That is great news, you must be very happy Pepper."

"A-ah, yes i am i was just very surprised it happened so soon."

It was at this moment that Tony entered from the other side of the room an almost completely identical reactor in his hands. He looked completely giddy as he brought it forwards to the same bench he had used for his, next to the surgical chair. Turning round to look at Pepper a gentleness taking over his previous giddiness.

"Pepper, let's get you cured." 

"Mhm, sure."

Very similar to Tony's he helped her onto the surgical chair and proceeded, once she was comfortable, to pull out the old reactor putting it with his own old one. Quickly after he took it out and placed it on the tray he grasped the new reactor and began to speedily and precisely place it within her chest cavity. The process was much smoother because of the help from someone, the reactor lighting up in a bright blue light as the pale Pepper began to recover, the veins on her chest still somewhat coloured with Palladium poisoning. (Yes she is naked). It was now my turn and much like Tony i placed my holy aura laced hands on her temples and blasted it through her body drawing the poisoning out through her mouth and erasing it with my powers.

'Finally, that isn't an issue.'

[Ding! Mission Complete: Cure Tony and Pepper!]

'Huh?'
