Avoiding Karina

Damian is still at the hospital, taking care of Karina, who still looks weak and often has shortness of breath, prompting him to call the doctor. The situation seems urgent, but only he is accompanying her while her father is picking up her mother at the airport.

He feels restless, not getting any response from Valerie despite calling her several times.

'You must not be afraid... You must not change your mind. We will always be together with or without my father's approval!' He thought with frustration, his father's face imagined by him.

The door opens.

Damian glances, finding his father coming with his mother. 'Looks like I can use them to take care of Karina. I have to meet Valerie,' he thought, then stood up and welcomed them.

"Mom..."

Elena approaches Damian and then hugs him as they haven't seen each other since he went to Korea with Valerie.

"Is everything okay?" she asks.
