Ren invested most of his stat points into his speed and force because they were the most important, and he also put enough into physique to support his speed. He was primarily a swordsman, and his fighting style didn't really require him to use much of his own strength, so it was good as it was, he was not a strength focused person.

Apart from his class, Ren also had skills that increased his speed, so investing in it meant more speed for him.

'I might have to invest more into my physique if I want to be able to use my skills that increase speed after they level up.' Ren thought to himself.

Seeing that everything was set for his raid, he saw it fit to go to sleep in preparation for the following day.

The following day after Ren woke up and took care of everything like he would normally do, he made sure not to eat heavy food and just had something light before leaving for the portal station. He walked straight into the portal leading to the dungeon of fallen warriors.

At the other side of the portal, Ren met a different guard.

'So they finally switched the other guy after so long.' Even then, Ren could recognize this new guard since he had seen him talking with the one who was normally on duty, so he greeted.

The guard too must have recognized Ren, after all, the one who was normally there would never shut-up about Ren.

"You're Ren, right? You've been raiding alone a lot in this dungeon. What's your level now?" He asked Ren casually.

"Well, I haven't really gone up in level that much, though, hahaha." Ren said politely, rubbing the back of his head with his left palm. 'What's this guy trying to do?!'

If Ren's level was found out, he wouldn't be allowed to enter the dungeon because of the restrictions, so he needed to find a way to pass smoothly into the dungeon without getting found out. Immediately, Ren started concocting different plans and reviewing the ones he had made prior about how he would make his way into the dungeon without being stopped.

"Well, this dungeon does have a restriction, but I'm sure you'll be alright. Make sure to update your level later."

Without waiting around longer, Ren rushed into the dungeon. 'Good thing he didn't pressure me at all.'

[Dungeon of Fallen Warriors]

-Clear condition-

Kill all fallen warrior armies and kill the General.

. .

'Armies… what does it mean by armies?' Ren was… fascinated and amazed at the clear condition. "I see why no one returned now… How can ten people kill all these enemies who are at the same level, a commander and even a general? It's just overkill…"

Looking at the scenery before him with the armies in full display, Ren couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face, because all he could see was a sea of experience points. Thinking about it, if the commanders were supposed to be bosses before, now they were only sub-bosses and the real bosses were the generals.

'Has everybody been deceived all along then?' Ren didn't need to take his time, so he began the fight by activating his first skill.

"Clouds of Thunder and Lightning."

. . .

Outside the dungeon where the portal is, the guard stationed there was covered in sweat and his back was already wet and stuck to his body.

"How could this kind of thing happen during my watch?..."

The portal leading to the dungeon of fallen warriors had turned marron, indicating that someone above level 25 had entered the dungeon. This was the only way to identify that it was that exactly.

'No matter what, I have to report this.' The guard fought first to hold back his tears from streaming down his face before he dragged himself to his superiors.

Seven minutes later, a crowd was already formed in front of the dungeon of fallen warriors, and the guard who was stationed there earlier was now at the back of the crowd looking gloomy.

"How could this even happen? Who're the fools who went in despite knowing what this dungeon is?"

"I know you're angry, but control your words. It wasn't a team that went in, but a single person?"

"WHAT?!"

"Calm down… Also, it's a first year student, so it's possible that he has no idea about the dungeon, not to mention, this isn't his first time raiding this particular dungeon alone." The one explaining things was a well grown man in his early sixties at the very least. He seemed dignified and it was hard to tell what his position was at first glance.

"Really? Who is this student? And you even say he is still in his first year?" 'that means he hasn't been here for more than a month even.' The vice head of the Grand Phoenix Academy thought to himself. Fars Larkingstone was a man in his mid-forties, a rather young age for someone at his position, but he had the strength to back it up, he was a one-star general after all.

"It's the very same student the Head mentioned last time."

"You mean the kid? Well, even more problem. If anything was to happen to him in there, we won't be getting out of it easily." Fars was visibly worried now, even though he maintained his calm, those who could recognize it could tell.

The only problem was that there wasn't a single thing they could do but wait helplessly to see if anything would happen. They all waited for the moment the gate would return to its normal colour.

. . .

"Damn, good thing I have enough force potions."

Ren had already cleared more than 80% of the enemies present using just two skills, Clouds of Thunder and Lightning and Firestorm, both worked like magic and the damage they jointly dealt was more than satisfactory.

'Firestorm even levelled up and the effects became stronger, the only problem I'd say presented itself was the force consumption.'

It had only been less than ten minutes since Ren entered the dungeon and of course there was no way for him to know what the situation outside was. Well, he could guess what the reaction of those outside was, but Ren didn't care at all, it was at the back of his mind.

Twelve minutes after Ren entered the dungeon, all the enemies had been taken care of. Truly, AOE attacks were the best, because by the time the general was left alone, Ren had killed so many enemies that his both skills levelled up once.

'This has to be the most effective method yet discovered.' The nature of the dungeon was just too good!

With the general remaining, Ren decided it would be better to attack him head on instead of using AOE for a single enemy and use up more force than he should.

Since all the enemies had levels around 25 to 30 and the commanders would have been maybe around level 32 to 35, Ren expected the general to be close to level 40. Getting closer to it, Ren confirmed his suspicions to be true, the general's level was indeed at 40.

'A level 40, huh?' There was no way he was taking any chances. Even the horse the general rode on didn't look normal. 'Taking things easy will only cause regret in future for anyone in such a situation.' Ren thought to himself. He wasn't a firm believer in attacking with base stats instead of fighting seriously from the get go against an uncertain foe.

With such thoughts in mind, Ren activated two skills simultaneously, 'Lightning Impulse' and 'Godspeed'.

In a mere second, Ren covered a great distance to appear near the general and his mount, swinging his hand as he activated his 'slash' skill within a 25 metres radius of the skill's effect.

Unexpectedly, the general was able to fend off the attack, but it still managed to break his defenses and cut him on his cheek, drawing a little blood, angering the general successfully.

'Seems I've met an enemy who I can't kill with my overpowered 'slash' skill today, then…'

The general that had been angered turned to face Ren completely as he got ready to charge forward with his horse, and surprisingly, Ren was still running towards him after his skill failed.

'Blood Burn.'

Onn activation of this skill, Ren noticed that the general that had gotten into an attack position to charge forward suddenly fell from his horse while it charged forward alone. He swiftly cut off the horse into two with no resistance.

'Even though the blood burn doesn't kill at once, it still causes excruciating pain, probably more than a person would have felt before.' Ren thought to himself. Keeping the fact that he activated it at full capacity, he was dealing maximum effect to the general.

'Consecutive slashes.'

In an instant, Ren moved from where he stood in front of the general and appeared behind him, and what followed was a series of slashes, ten in total, all aimed at the general who was on his knees and palms, gritting his teeth in pain. The attack tore him into different parts that littered the ground with dark colored blood.

[Level Up!]

Ren didn't need to do the entire motion, but he believed it increased the effectiveness of the move…

'I should invest in these two skills; they work so well together.'
