Greatest Fear...

A young man walked through the corners of different subs and alleyways, a suitcase in his hands and a slight quickening to his steps, but if anyone could see, they would notice the small droplets of blood beneath his steps.

Khan finally arrived in front of a towering mansion he arrived before the large golden door and brought out a card from his pocket which he swiped on the card lock on the door.

"BEEP!" The door made a beeping sound but didn't open as a blue wave of light emerged from the door scanning Khan from up to toe before the door slowly opened.

"Welcome Back Master..." The AI voice rang out but Khan paid it no mind as he dropped the wardrobe on the ground before moving toward the bathroom.

Khan arrived in front of the large wall mirror, and he slowly took off his clothes revealing the horrifying amount of slash marks on his body.

With an especially ghostly gaping hole on his stomach that showed his internal organs.

[The Host's body is in critical health.]

[Automatically activating Regeneration...]

It was as if a pure energy was being passed into his body as Khan felt the wounds slowly closing up and the pain was getting alleviated although it was incredibly slow due to his almost non-existent energy.

Entering the shower, the water poured down on his shoulder as he felt deep comfort, the green blood mixed in with red and black pouring down beneath his feet while his dark hair was stripped of the dark color, as it regained its normal golden color.

20 minutes later...

A young man with golden hair and eyes sat in the gigantic bedroom, with a suitcase on his feet.

Khan slowly arranged the weapon back into the suitcase although there was now an unoccupied hole left which was that of the serum he used to bring the woman back to life.

Those were life-healing serums, a gift to him after completing 15 death missions.

A golden-colored notification panel suddenly appeared in front of him.

"And what's this?" Khan asked raising an eyebrow.

[Those are the quests you completed.]

"Oh?" Khan raised an eyebrow not expecting his little act to be taken notice of by the system.

Thinking of what he did hours ago, Khan's eyes narrowed as he wondered why he even bothered. There was no reason for him to interfere but he did. It wasn't the first time he'd watch a building under attack or even houses getting completely burned up but never for once had he ever bothered to pay attention to that.

But this time he just couldn't. Hearing the young girl's scream for help touched something in him that made his own body not listen to him and run towards the building.

After that it was too late to refuse so he just went along with the flow although it all went out well in the end.

'Just what is going on? What is the feeling?' Khan thought feeling his pounding heart that had never beat this hard in around 6 years of completing different missions non-stop.

"System interface..." Khan suddenly called out placing everything at the back of his mind.

"I'm guessing those attribute points are for increasing those points right?" Khan asked

Khan looked at the panel as we wondered which attributes would be best to increase and he quickly made his choice.

"Add 10 points to strength, 5 points to agility, and 5 points to Intelligence..." Khan commanded. He figured there was no need to increase his perception for now due to his Nanorunic Eyes that could pretty much capture everything and widely increase his perception, adding would be a waste of points and also his charm which he did not need right now.

[Points added. Your strength has increased...]

A hot feeling spread out through his entire body from his heart as Khan felt a sudden increase in his strength, which was like two times increase in strength while he felt, even lighter as if gravity suddenly reduced its hold on him an also felt calmer and cooler, creating a euphoric feeling of control within him.

"So this is the result of leveling up? Interesting..." Khan said shocked as he felt if he was to go on a round two, then he'd be able to match the werewolf in pure brute strength.

Looking at his Attributes once again.

"Upgrade regeneration..." Khan commanded without even doubting for once. He was well aware of the terror of the wolf that could infinitely regenerate from all his attacks and it was quite the fearsome power to possess.

Immediately, he could feel all the grievous wounds quickly closing twice faster than before.

Khan delivered a loud yawn as he landed weakly on the bed, the sound of crunching bones ringing out.

"All my injuries should have completely healed by tomorrow. I'll visit the port at the first sight of dawn and travel out of the city before they notice any abnormalities..." Khan muttered planning the next day as he closed his eyes and soon descended into slumber.

A total of a hundred shadows spread through the dark alleys and the roof sky as they all steadily advanced towards the Gigantic mansion which was none other than where Khan was.
