Just The Effect of the Blood Moon.

Xavian was distracted all through the next day.

Nein was missing, two students were dead and Pinkie was unconscious.

It was a really bad day for both him and Elena.

Even more disturbing, was the counter dinging in his head.

With a sigh, Xavian left for the library after classes.

It had become his hobby to study about Dhampirs whenever he had the chance.

Elena was off doing her own thing, and Xavian was alone on his table having lunch.

"~Ahh."

He sighed as he consumed a blood cup and saw the satisfying notification.

Since it was the same type of blood he was always consuming, after the initial bonus he only got half a Mana point for consuming blood.

However, the other notification still bothered him though.

[Failure: You will go into a blood frenzy and devour as much blood as possible till the Blood moon passes]

It had been six days since he got the mission, and unfortunately, it coincided with the day before the blood moon.

Having nothing to do with Elena gone, Nein gone, and Pinkie in the hospital, Xavian hit the library.

After a few hours of studying various books on Dhampirs, he noticed that it was almost midnight and everyone else had already left.

When packing up the books he was using, however, a blinding pain struck his brain while a piercing pain overcame his stomach.

It was twelve o clock sharp.

Multiple dings rang in his head but he could not process any of them as the blinding pain assaulted his brain.

But he had a feeling they said;

[You have One hour left to complete Mission: Consume Vampire blood within Nine days]

Xavian was on the verge of collapsing due to the pain.

Just as his vision faded, a silhouette walked in to the library and noticed him.

"Oh my gosh, dude?!, What's wrong with you!"

"Come on, I'll take you to go see the doctor."

A hint of feminine perfume wafted Into his nose as he managed to open his eyes a bit.

It smelled familiar.

Squinting, he could see that he was being carried over someone's shoulder and the person was moving at an incredible speed.

However, he could also see every vein in the person's body and could even hear the blood pulsing through them.

All his thoughts were faded away as only one thing remained on his mind.

'Blood!!'

Then he sank his elongated fangs into the person's body.
