Nolan exclaimed in disbelief.

"It seems so! It might not be very strong in healing injuries, but it has this unexpected effect of accelerating seed germination!"

Sucrose clenched her fists in excitement as she spoke.

"You're one of my dad's drinking buddies!"

Diona shouted angrily and came at him with a broom, forcing Nolan to quickly flee.

He had almost forgotten how much Diona hated her father drinking. Bringing wine as a gift should have waited until she wasn't around.

Realizing his mistake, Nolan found a hidden spot nearby to stash the two bottles of fruit wine. As he left, he gave Draff a knowing look.

With his experience, Draff would surely understand and easily find the hidden wine later.

After leaving Draff's house, Nolan checked in with Sucrose, then used the "Interstellar Travel" ability to teleport to her side.

The midday sun shone directly overhead.

Before him was a field of flowers in Springvale, though none were blooming yet. The buds hadn't even formed, and only the green leaves were visible.

Nolan wasn't familiar with flowers, so he didn't know what species they were.

"These are ordinary Sweet Flowers. I tested the seeds in the lab earlier, and now I want to see how the growing Sweet Flowers respond," Sucrose explained simply.

She had already obtained permission from the owner of the flower field to experiment on two Sweet Flowers growing in a corner. That way, even if something went wrong, it wouldn't affect the other flowers.

Nolan nodded as he watched Sucrose pour a little of the "healing ointment" onto the roots of one of the Sweet Flowers.

Suddenly, Nolan noticed movement.

Just as he thought the ointment was so powerful that the Sweet Flower would immediately start growing taller, the soil in the flower field cracked open.

The Sweet Flower that had been treated with the "healing ointment" jumped right out of the ground.

Its familiar appearance, along with the overwhelming elemental energy it emitted—

This was... a Cryo Whopperflower!
