Chapter 41 : End Of The First Year 1

Soon the end of the year came and all the houses were supposed to get the ranking and the house cup.

After the incident, Hermione ended up avoiding Orion for a while, Orion himself didn't think that a girl like Hermione would take action and kiss him. Of course, it was a kiss on the cheek but still, this is no 21st century, it's 1992 and unlike 11-year-olds of the modern era now kids don't talk about sex openly, it was a much simpler time.

But sooner or later, the relationship came back to its normal routine and finally, the end of the year came.

"I have some additional points to give," Dumbledore said and Orion smirked a little from the sideline, he now was curious about what kind of bullshit dumb dumbbell used to give house points to Rose.

"I award 20 points to Neville Longbottom for standing up against his friends when times demanded," Dumbledore said and everyone cheered. It was still a small cheer as Gryffindor now was the last house in house points.

"I award Ron Weasley 20 points for his outstanding performance in wizard chess,".

Total bullshit, there was no chess match played by the trio this time around.

'Ah come on, now he is just finding reasons to award points to Gryffindor,' Orion couldn't help but complain, but it's not like he dislikes it, he too is in Gryffindor after all.

"I award 20 points to Hermione Granger for being the smartest mind of this year,".

Orion at this had two thoughts about getting that old man's head open and seeing for himself where he was pulling all this bullshit from.

"I award 20 points to Rose Potter for showing bravery when the school was in need of it,"

'What bravery, what for the school, she is an 11-year-old,' Orion after having enough finally closed his mental shields hard enough to control his roaming mind and focus on what was happening in front of him.

"And finally for Saving a friend in need, not once but twice, to invent a revolutionary potion which can nourish the mind, to being able to defeat a Troll even after being a first year and even defeat an adult wizard without even using any magic...." only after hearing this much Orion internally groan.

"I award Orian Ambrosius, 200 points," Dumbledore finally had a smirk on his face that he somehow pulled off Gryffindor's victory in the end, even looking towards Orion with a grandfatherly smile.

Orion on the other hand groans again after getting bombarded by a mental prompt by Dumbledore. 'It's D, Orion D. Ambrosius,' He grumbles under his breath.

This time the cheers were loud, loud enough that it even made Orion distract from what he was thinking. The constant pat on the back and students calling his name were also a reason.

"Mate you made Gryffindor win the house cup," Ron said from the sideline, Orion just gave a simple nod, not wanting to talk with Ron much, he is a good kid but a brat.

Hermione and Rose were also on his side and cheered in the celebration as the flags and colours of Gryffindor, Red and Golden, appear all around the hall.

Orion just sighed and cheered with others, no point sulking, it's not like something bad happened, it's just that he doesn't give much importance to the house points at all.

Orion was currently sitting in the headmaster's office. He really wanted to know, just how things turn like this, he shifted his gaze a little to the right to find a very familiar face.

A certain Slytherin first-year who shouldn't exist just like him, Nick Iron was there sitting with him. 

That boy has sent so many Legilimency prompts towards him that Orion had half the mind to Punch him, the consequences can go to hell, but he controlled his impulses, considering what he saw in the forest of death, Nick Iron is much stronger than any normal Student, plus there is that Elder Wand.

Orion even suspects that Nick Iron could be a reincarnation just like him, after all, how else he can explain the fact that he knows about the Room of Requirement and the Secret Chamber, This mother fucker can even enter the secret chamber, possibly making him a Parseltongue.

Thanks to Merlin's advanced Occulumency shields, Orion was able to save and guard his most important memories from Nick even without letting the other kid know that he had Occulumency shields. Apparently, these magical arts have long been lost to the wizarding world.

"First time in the headmaster's office," Orion thought of starting casual talk but the broody look on Nick's face didn't give him much motivation to continue.

"Not exactly" Nick said after some time but Orion for some reason felt that those words held much deeper meaning behind them.

Orion didn't indulge in another wild goose chase inside his mind to find that identity of the anomaly in front of him.

Dumbledore was late but it gave Orion enough time to look around his office, 'I mean, the supposed leader of light won't mind right, he can't possibly have anything dark hidden here now can he,' Orion thought and had a scandalised look on his face.

But he never planned to mess with Dumble's things, he just walked in front of a very familiar-looking bird, it was a phoenix just like RED, remembering he thought where his friend was. Red liked to play outside and didn't stay with Orion all the time, he usually came back once in a while.

"Ah I see that you took a fancy to Fawks," Dumbledore appeared like an undertaker from some coffin, almost giving Orion a miniature heart attack, he made sure to pull a revenge prank on him later on.

Orion didn't hide his thought of his and Dumbledore who started reading Orion's mind the moment eye contact was made, also read his thoughts. 

He first just smiles at the pranks part of the thought but then focuses on the world Undertaker.

'Who is the undertaker ?' Dumbledore questioned himself, ' Is that a dark wizard which I don't know, maybe a vampire considering he comes from coffins ?' Dumbledore made a mental note to look for the Undertaker in his free time.
