"Hmph ~ beep beep~" As soon as Yves King wanted to speak, Faye Owen on the other end had already angrily hung up. Obviously, Mandy Qamar's seemingly casual remark had thoroughly infuriated Faye.

Helplessly, Yves put down his phone and took a bite of the oyster. He then glared at Mandy and grumpily said, "Stop causing trouble."

"Hehe." Mandy's cheeks were flushed and pretty. Facing Yves's reprimand, she didn't care and laughed softly while clinging to his arm. "Is she your girlfriend or your wife? Today, someone is going to be grounded at home." She had a smug look on her face like she was enjoying the misfortune she had purposely brought upon him.

"Landlord Qamar, are you here to have dinner with me or to investigate me?" Yves asked while enjoying the oyster and the drinks.

"Aren't I just concerned about your life, old classmate?" Mandy said with laughter, "Alright, alright. No more questions, let's drink." But a strange, ambiguous smile leaked from the corner of her eyes.
