CONTRACT MARRIAGE OFFER

"He owed Due Corporation two million dollars and planned to forfeit by selling off the shares. I took off the shares since he squandered the money by gambling," I pipped. 

Everyone was silent and Uncle Carter spoke up" So you used your powers on him. " 

"Impossible. "I stated" Carter was just bitter because I discovered how he mishandled the company. All the shareholders of Due Corporation are my witness. " I asserted. 

Once I spoke, I realized that Uncle Carter had no case. And the confirmation was how Benjamin and Elder Zaya smiled while Alpha Lobo's eyes blazed. 

"There is a rumor that they saw you with Rogue Conri at old Benjamin's pub," Alpha Lobo growled.

"I am seated right here Lobo, you can direct the question to me. "Benjamin sat back and stared at Alpha Lobo. 

"I mean no disrespect, Benjamin. "Alpha Lobo muttered through gritted teeth. 

"I don't understand your question Alpha Lobo" I feigned innocence. 

"Lucian, the Freki pact is clear. You need to abide by it. Including the pack rules for all the exiled rogues." 

"You mean Conri Dolf? I hired him to build a resort in the mountains. "I announced.

Alpha Lobo stood up and banged the table. A growl emitted from his chest and the wolves next to Hunter emitted loud growls that shook the room. 

"You crossed the line, Lucian," Alpha Lobo yelled.

"You are the one who thinks so. The pack rules are clear and Conri has remained in exile to the mountains. The Freki land in the mountains is where the resort is being built. How is that not abiding by the pack rules?" I responded in a calm tone. 

"I see no problem. Conri is an excellent architect. Twenty years have passed since he was exiled. And Lucian is not breaking any pact roles or anything the KODA council stipulates. "Benjamin spoke.

"I agree," Elder Zaya nodded while Raph Isla acknowledged "That's true"

Luna Elijah and Uncle Carter all remained silent as Alpha Lobo realized he was outnumbered on this matter. 

Alpha Lobo sat down and snickered. "The Alpha word is law." Uncle Carter was the only one who nodded in agreement. "The Koda council created the Law of the pack. We all abide by Lobo. And no one is going against the Alpha's law." 

"He is a rogue because he committed murder," Hunter seethed

"So you say. He agreed to his exile without question. But we did not have any evidence to link him apart that he was the one who found her, "Elder Zaya interjected.

"You are defending a murderer. "Uncle Carter growled.

"Conri has been in exile for too long. As per the Pack's laws, he should stay in the mountains. Now that Lucian has offered him a job, you still make it difficult for my godson?" From her posture, she was seething with anger. 

"Calm down, "Luna Elijah asserted. 

"The council promised me they would give me one request. And today I have come to collect it" Elder Zaya's eyes blazed golden. 

"Speak! "Ralph encouraged Elder Zaya.

"My Godson requests a marriage contract with Lucian Freki" She dropped the bombshell, and I felt the ground shake as Alpha Lobo's red eyes growled.

"The fuck did you say, old woman? "Hunter seethed and Elder Zaya moved with so much power and in the next instant Hunter's head was pressed on the table and the two wolves next to him were lying on the ground whimpering. 

I stared at her in shock and awe as she seethed, " Cub, you are no match for me" and then she threw him on the ground and majestically walked back to her chair. 

My eyes darted to everyone's faces in the room, trying to confirm their reactions, but none looked surprised at how powerful Edler Zaya was. We watched as Hunter stood up from the ground and stood behind Alpha Lobo's chair in embarrassment. 

"Lucian, are you willing to get into a marriage contract? The proposal from Elder Zaya is that during the three years of building the resort, you will be married to Conri Dolf. That way, we can be assured he will be under your care. That is the condition that Conri stipulated." Benjamin spoke up. 

"Under his care? What if he kills Lucian Freki?" Uncle Carter laughed. 

"Then you will finally have your son back at Due Corporation as you wished, " Elder Zaya snapped, and Uncle Carter's eyes blazed at her.

"Take your time to think about it." Ralph Isla advised. 

"The idea makes sense. "Luna Elija spoke up. "The decision lies with you, Lucian." 

"As Alpha, I object. How dare a rogue make demands?" Alpha Lobo stated. 

"The KODA council is made up of all of us. The votes count. "Benjamin stated. "It will depend on you, Lucian. 

Married to Conri. Freki howled in joy. He was happy about it. I smiled at the idea and I saw Hunter groan while Alpha Lobo shook his head in disbelief as I nodded and agreed.

"I accept the marriage proposal, "I spoke up with confidence. 

"No fucking way "Alpha Lobo's eyes blazed

"Do you have the intent to marry me? "My eyes blazed at Alpha Lobo

"What the fuck are you saying Lucian" He threw his power over me but it had no effect.

"Why would you object to my marriage to Lobo? That is none of your fucking business," I laughed sarcastically.

Elder Zaya's eyes widened, and Benjamin chuckled in shock. I could see how embarrassed and uncomfortable everyone else was. "You are wrong. I am merely preventing another bloodshed. " Alpha Lobo defended himself. 

"I can sign another pact document if need be. If it ever happens, I absolve you of all the blame. "I advised.

Alpha Lobo's eyes burn with rage and something else. I could not tell if it was possessiveness or jealousy."Are you all going to allow this madness? How can a whole CEO be this blind ? And the Koda council?" He seethed and threw his hands up in the air.
