Sienna felt a strong urge to remove her son from the crazy family, but she held back.
"I am your grandfather, Julius Von Amstel. You may address me as Grandpa," said Julius, mirth dancing in his amber orbs as he patted the back of the boy's head. "You've got some of your great-grandfather's silver hair, I see."
Caius glanced at the boy's hair, and his eyes narrowed. He brought his gaze to his brother. "Care to tell us what exactly happened? You know I don't trust rumors, Lemiel. They lack credibility."
"What happened, you ask?" Lemiel smirked. "You see, a child was born as a result of my contribution to the act of bringing life into this world."
Criselle cringed. "Why can't you just be direct with your answer, Lemiel?"
