Chapter 13 : Sadako’s strangling habit

Two ghostly figures appeared out of nowhere.

'Were there other prisoners in this cell? Or is it something the newcomer in front of me did?'

Avalo Pizarro's eyelids twitched slightly, and his big hand in chains shot out towards the ghostly figure. He didn't care what Lucas was talking about; a pirate with a bounty of only 30 million berries could be easily crushed to death by his hands, or so he thought.

However, his fist went through Sadako's body, as if she didn't exist at all, just like a ghost. Confused, Pizarro tried using armament haki, but it had no effect on her.

'Huh? She dodged?' Pizarro's eyebrows raised, and he decided to use his armament haki again. His powerful fist entered Sadako's body, seemingly without any resistance.

Avalo Pizarro frowned. 'Armament Haki doesn't work, which means it wasn't Logia? Is it something else?' He thought in his heart, but his actions didn't stop at all.

When he stomped his foot, the cell floor rumbled and trembled, his burly and strong body jumped high, and his fist struck in Lucas's direction.

Since these two women in white are troublesome to deal with, let's get rid of Lucas first!

Suddenly, Sadako appeared in front of Lucas, moving almost instantaneously. She raised her head stiffly, revealing a pair of lifeless, bloodless eyes. In the blink of an eye, Sadako's pale hand with skinny, withered fingers touched Avalo's arm, and it made a bone-chilling noise as his arm twisted and broke in a strange manner, blood gushing out.

Avalo was horrified, struggling to comprehend how he got hurt this badly. He had fought against many powerful enemies at sea, but he had never encountered such an enemy before.

"What the hell are you!?" Avalo gasped, his body recoiling as he clutched his injured arm, his face now displaying a hint of fear.

"They are ghosts," Lucas lay sideways on the ground, rested his chin on his palm, and smiled at the Corrupt King.

'Ghost?'

Avalo's eyelids twitched as he thought back to Lucas's first sentence, "Do you believe in ghosts?" It suddenly made sense. These two white-robed women were indeed like ghosts.

Avalo shifted his sight suddenly, saw that Sadako was looking at him with a pair of dead eyes.

Suddenly! A pair of pale cold hands with five slender and skinny fingers each strangled his neck!

Avalo was enveloped in a suffocating sensation, and the world was spinning before his eyes.

As Avalo tried to escape Sadako's grasp, his punches, infused with armament haki, kept entering Sadako's body without causing her any harm. In fact, her grip on his neck only tightened.

A black handprint began to form on Avalo's neck as he struggled for breath. His eyes were bloodshot, and his vision blurred. He felt like a balloon about to explode, his struggles growing weaker.

All the other prisoners who had been eagerly watching the confrontation were stunned by the sudden turn of events. 'It was over that fast?'

They had expected the Corrupt King to swiftly eliminate the newcomer Lucas, but now these two ghostly women had completely changed the outcome.

Teleportation, intangibility, and a powerful choking force that not even the notorious Corrupt King could escape from—these abilities left everyone in shock.

"How did these two women appear?"

"Were they really ghosts?"

"A literal ghost?"

The prisoners' whispered questions filled the cell as they witnessed the astonishing display of power by Sadako and Hanako.
