Chapter 261: Athena's Secretary

Divine Realm, New Krypton Territory.

The New Krypton Territory was vastly different from what H'el had previously inspected.

Previously, there was only a magical orb, a manifestation of divine authority, serving as the sun, illuminating the entire territory.

Now, towering castles stood tall, with massive vines and vegetation intertwining. Figures flew back and forth, exuding a mysterious aura while displaying grandeur. They formed unique nodes of magical formations, also serving as the location for the students of the Magic Academy.

Many of these castles were either directly transported by Athena or newly constructed. They were equipped with convenient high-tech amenities, everywhere you looked there were talking paintings, singing statues, and brooms and mops that cleaned automatically. There were all sorts of mysterious and bizarre things.

This particular castle belonged to the principal of the Magic Academy.

Athena wore a white robe with golden threads, her figure graceful. Her black hair was tied up, with wisps of it resting gently on her smooth and fair neck. In the gentle sunlight streaming in from the window, her dignified and beautiful face exuded a soft and sacred radiance.

Her eyelashes were long and thick, casting a serene and beautiful profile under the slanting sunlight. She was fully focused, diligently using a quill to mark the scores of the most outstanding students in the school, planning to send another batch of magic soldiers to the Three-Body Universe.

She knew that H'el's New Krypton was waging a war of conquest in another universe, but she had never been there. She had only sent many high-achieving and talented magic students to form magic legions and engage in battle.

*Knock knock.* Someone knocked on the office door.

"Come in." Under the gentle sunlight, Athena inserted the quill back into its holder, raised her head, and looked at the secretary entering the room.

The visitor was a girl who looked like a high school student, wearing a black and blue cloak. The cloak hung behind her, revealing short chin-length hair, a delicate face, and lips that were different from normal people's—purple.

She had a petite figure, wearing a black and blue tight-fitting plastic-like suit. Her legs were slender, slightly thinner than an ordinary high school girl's. Her face was indifferent, showing little emotion. With files in her arms, she walked straight into the principal's office and said crisply:

"Principal, the Chief God of Magic has detected unusual spatial fluctuations and energy distortions at combat training site No. 189 along the coast of the Sea of Death. Thirty magic students in that area have disappeared, and there has been no response from the souls of their student IDs. It has been confirmed as death." The girl secretary said crispy.

She was a girl that Athena picked up from Earth and directly appointed as her secretary.

Five months ago, the magic academy stationed on Earth detected a large amount of evil magic energy suddenly appearing in Manhattan. It almost caused the entire population of Manhattan to be overwhelmed by negative emotions, with everyone in a state of anger, grief, and other negative emotions. The whole city was in chaos, and dangerous incidents occurred frequently. Every day, there were people committing suicide. Superman had been saving for three days and nights, but he couldn't save the people who had become irritable and prone to collective suicide.

Helpless, they requested assistance from the mysterious side of New Krypton to investigate. Finally, with the search by the magic academy, they found the source in a dirty alley, where some residual magicians from Earth, along with some remnants of native magicians, had found the source.

It's the girl in front of Athena, her body sealed a demon, leaking a trace of negative magic that plunged the entire city into a negative state.

Athena reinforced the seal on her body, knowing her name was Raven, and casually brought her along to become her secretary.

Otherwise, the Earth couldn't bear the ravages of the projection of a devil from Hell, known as Trigon.

"What's the cause of the spatial fluctuations and energy distortions? Have you found out?" Athena asked softly.

Training and learning magic at the Magic Academy was never without risks.

Whether it was dealing with the undead spirits in the Sea of Death in real combat or practicing magic alone, there was always the possibility of accidental disability or death.

Although the loss of thirty magic students for real combat training this time was relatively large, it was not enough to alarm her, the principal of the Magic Academy.

"No," Raven the secretary shook her head in response. "Only the footage of the captain responsible for the training of the thirty individuals before their deaths, but I looked into it and don't understand what caused the spatial and energy fluctuations."

"Let me take a look," Athena said.

She knew the girl's story in front of her.

Raven, despite possessing powerful magic and knowledge acquired in another magical realm, had limited understanding of the universe.

Setting the documents she held on the classical desk, the magical papers twisted and rose, forming a projected image.

In the projection, the sky churned with white streams of air, accompanied by a deafening roar.

"A Boomtube!"

Athena's dignified and beautiful face showed no surprise. Before the ancient cosmic wars, the Divine Realm was permeable, allowing entry for slightly more powerful deities or cosmic beings to vie for a foothold.

During the ancient cosmic wars, the God Realm served as a transit station, traversed by legions from Apokolips and New Genesis.

However, afterward, the God Realm completely wiped all spatial coordinates, concealing itself and developing exclusively as territory belonging to the Olympian pantheon.

Seeing the emergence of a Boomtube indicated an undiscovered, uncleared spatial coordinate.

Athena felt no surprise. The question was, who was coming through the Boomtube?

New Genesis was fine, being a peaceful civilization with the same goal as the Olympian pantheon in guarding the center of the universe, so there would be no conflict.

But if it was Apokolips...

Things might get a bit tricky.

The 189th real combat training site was near the Sea of Death, and Athena didn't need to guess who the visitors were.

And Hades, with his capricious and cunning nature, even though he belonged to the Olympian pantheon, Athena was reluctant to have too much contact or interaction with him. He was a difficult deity to deal with.

"Steppenwolf..."

As Athena saw the final scene, it was Steppenwolf who casually struck out with energy, killing the thirty-person training team.

Steppenwolf and Hades, whatever they were planning, was beyond her control.

She needed to inform H'el and Zeus.

Just as Athena was about to notify H'el and Zeus...

A distant communication wave transmitted to the minds of Athena and Raven, and they exchanged a glance.

At the same time, over a hundred magical instructors rose from their seats in classrooms, ceased their experiments in laboratories, and halted their activities, receiving the message, all flying toward the principal's castle.

"Principal, at Base 189, seven thousand faculty and students have fallen into slumber. A death god named Hades wishes to meet with you."
