Time Vault.
H'el smiled slightly, lifting the unconscious Reverse Flash with his hand. He transferred his psychic power into his body, turning into subatomic particles to clear away his dead cells, promote cell division, tighten and heal his arm bones and cells, and stimulate blood circulation.
In just a few seconds, as if by magic, the shattered bones of the Reverse Flash's arm had already healed, restored to their original state.
He gradually regained consciousness in front of H'el, his eyes dim. Upon seeing H'el, his pupils shrank, his body tensed as he stared at H'el, slowly accepting that his life and death were in his hands, and he had agreed to be his subordinate.
Of course, the Reverse Flash's promise and oath were not to be overthought. In the future, when he becomes stronger and can defeat him, he will definitely strike first.
"Are you willing to dwell in this narrow place, without wanting to see the splendor of other universes?" H'el smirked.
What thoughts could the Reverse Flash have that H'el didn't know?
The Reverse Flash, with his unruly nature, deep thoughts, and intelligence beyond ordinary people, was not someone to be easily controlled.
As long as he had the power to resist, he would break free from all restraints and become an extremely evil villain in the eyes of others.
Because he was too free.
Free enough to travel through time.
Temporary submission might be infuriating for him, but it wasn't shameful.
"I don't know where you came from. But you won," the Reverse Flash wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, glanced at the blood on his hand, his heart heavy, his eyes calm, and calmly said, "What do you want me to do for you?"
It wasn't about surrendering or not; he had been defeated for now, and the Reverse Flash didn't want to die, so he would yield.
But if there was a chance in the future, he would follow his heart's decision.
"Not in a hurry. Take a look at your future first."
H'el pointed his finger at the Reverse Flash's forehead, using his psychic power to transmit the future where he would die into his brain, even though he wasn't currently using his speed force. It took him a moment to fully process the information transmitted by H'el.
Like scenes from a TV show, they began to play in his mind.
Educating the Flash to become a superhero.
Teaching him skills related to speed force.
Guiding him to run faster, grow faster, steal his speed force, thus exposing himself as the murderer of his mother.
Until finally, in order to return to the world 136 years later, deceiving Barry to change the outcome of his mother's murder.
But the Flash didn't stop him from killing his mother. Instead, he returned from sixteen years ago, and prevented himself from returning from there.
The most foolish thing was...
'My own existence didn't end by the means of death, but it's erased.
My ancestor, Eddie Thawne, committed suicide in front of me, leading to my erasure by time.'
"Is this my future???"
The Reverse Flash, also known as Eobard Thawne, stared with dilated pupils, finding it hard to believe that he had spent 16 years preparing and diligently nurturing the Flash, ensuring that the Flash had enough speed to traverse time and return to the past.
The Flash's choice was to watch his mother die at his own hands, without saving her, just to come back and stop him from going home.
This was originally a win-win situation; he could go home, and the Flash's mother wouldn't have to die. But the Flash chose to let his mother die to stop him from returning!
Eobard Thawne couldn't accept this outcome.
Especially with his foolish ancestor committing suicide, leading to his own erasure.
"Eobard Thawne, you should be able to see that this is the true timeline," H'el said to Thawne, seeing his difficulty in accepting the truth, his voice like a devil whispering in his ear.
Eobard Thawne didn't doubt that this was fake, only fabricated. But would a powerful being who could control your life and death bother to create such easily debunked illusions to deceive himself?
It was unnecessary.
And too easily seen through.
Eobard Thawne wasn't stupid enough to be easily deceived.
"Even if it's true. Now that I know, the future will change. As long as I choose a different path, I will reach a different future, where there's a future where I'm alive."
Eobard Thawne's eyes flickered, saying something even he found hard to believe.
If these visions were true, then ultimately, his future would be death, or erasure.
The general trend wouldn't change.
No matter how much the specifics change, it wouldn't affect the general trend.
Was his existence disappearing part of the general trend? Or was it a small detail? Was it a certainty, or an insignificant external matter?
But the entanglement between himself and the Flash was definitely not insignificant.
Eobard Thawne was confused.
The more he thought about it, the more he understood that he thought he could manipulate time, but time had slapped him hard.
In fact, the Flash's mother was destined to be killed by the Reverse Flash; this was the true course of events.
Eobard Thawne was a necessary factor, traveling from the future to the past, completing the loop that led to the Flash's birth.
Because of his mother's death, Barry's life experiences shaped him into the Flash.
"Are you afraid of death?"
H'el had completed a loop in a parallel universe, becoming the source of that universe's H'el.
He vaguely understood that the Flash's mother had to die; that was the most important moment in time.
And the Reverse Flash, thinking he could manipulate time, would also inevitably die in the chase by the time wraiths.
So, Eobard Thawne's mission—to kill Barry's mother—once completed, would lead to his own ultimate fate, erasure.
But as long as Eobard Thawne didn't kill Barry's mother, then before that moment, any battle or entanglement with the Flash was just child's play.
The Reverse Flash existed to kill Barry's mother.
All of this seemed to exist for the sole purpose of creating the Flash.
"Am I afraid? No one isn't afraid of death."
The Reverse Flash closed his eyes fiercely, unable to wrap his mind around why he had this future.
Being more familiar with time than the average person, he understood that this was his future, so reversing it wouldn't be so easy.
Especially since his Speed Force were born because of the Flash.
At that moment, he suddenly realized that he was like a marionette controlled by the Flash's Speed Force, completely powerless.
"Very well. Understand your situation," H'el said, his face devoid of emotion, his deep eyes carrying a cold and dangerous message as he spoke slowly, "I don't want you harboring any unnecessary thoughts."
"Whether it's the Flash replacing the Flash, or the Reverse Flash replacing the Flash, to me, it's just a different choice."
Eobard Thawne instantly understood his boss's intentions.
He came from another universe.
He wanted to bring the Flash or himself back to his universe to replace the original Flash.
Choosing himself actually gave him an opportunity.
Otherwise, replacing the Flash with the Flash would definitely be the best choice.
Unless he didn't like the Flash's personality, which gave him this opportunity.
An opportunity to break free from being erased in this universe.
"I understand. What do you need me to do?"
