Chapter 59: First Scuffle

Manchester City kicked off the match under a good notion, they got serious right from the first minute, however, they had not been able to pull anything off so far.

The match was in the twenty-second minute now, and so far none of the teams had been able to get the ball into the goalpost of the other.

City were obviously dominating the game as they had seventy-one percent of ball possession with Crystal Palace having twenty-nine.

They had fired six shots so far with two being on target while Crystal Palace had only one shot which wasn't even close to being on target. 

City were still with the ball here, and they were moving it around nicely in their own half. 

"Manchester City are dominating the game, they seem to be struggling in front of goal, Crystal Palace aren't making it that easy for them," Tony commented. 

Maxi linked the ball to Merino at that moment, and without hesitation, the winger sent the ball rolling to Axel down the middle.
