"I've tried everything, if it wasn't for your constant pushing, would I have taken this step?" Adrian Zhekova shouted, "Now you both act like you're the good guys with principles, blaming everything on me, as if I'm the one responsible."

"If it weren't for your pressure, would I have reached this point?" he exclaimed, "Now all of my connections and resources have been reclaimed by the Old Master!"

Gabriel Zhekova clearly had not anticipated this.

The Old Master had actually reclaimed all of Adrian's resources.

However, even though he was surprised, he felt it was not unexpected.

"In that case, you should focus on improving yourself," Gabriel said.

Adrian stared at his father in disbelief, "Dad, are you really giving up?"

"What else can I do?" Gabriel retorted, "I'm fighting for you at my age. You think I'm doing this for myself? I'll retire once I've taken control, don't you realize it'll all be yours?"
