Royal treatment.

"That's a beautiful name! Sharlindra, I love it!"

The woman on the bed attempted to stand up but halfway through, she fell sideways. Just in time, another individual caught her.

"Hey, calm down. You're alright. You just need some time to get used to it," a trembling, soft, and gentle voice reassured her, conveying a sense of delicacy and vulnerability.

Sharlindra proceeded to ask a series of questions, ensuring her memory remained intact.

After a while, the recently awakened Sharlindra looked at the woman who had been supporting her.

She blinked a couple of times to focus and then remained emotionless as she contemplated her companion.

The companion was a tall woman with violet skin, reminiscent of lavender flowers on a sunny day.

Her curvy face had sporadic freckles and projected kindness, although her crimson lizard-like eyes hinted at her underlying power. Notably, she wore hair clips shaped like cats licking their paws.

Her attire consisted of a combination of a chocolate brown ruffled shirt with French sleeves, golden painted bottoms, and white ruffles.

Underneath, purplish scales covered her neck and part of her throat, but not her head. She wore an open burgundy military coat with a single-breasted design, paired with red military shorts.

Completing her ensemble were boots similar to modern combat boots but fashioned from different materials.

In summary, she wore a fancy shirt, a long coat, shorts, and plain boots with numerous decorations for those less interested in fashion or details.

"Where am I? What happened to me?" Sharlindra asked, her arms trembling as she clung to her companion.

"Hey, calm down, alright? Let me help you," the gentlewoman offered, assisting Sharlindra to sit down while she continued to examine her new body.

"You are on our planet, Mantrea. You have been reincarnated as a new being."

"What?!" Sharlindra exclaimed, taken aback by this information.

She reached for her hair but realized she couldn't feel it like normal hair. Instead, she saw a semi-transparent gray gas that felt like her hair but resembled a gray veil emanating from her head.

While it appeared as gray hair to others, it felt different to her.

Betanya continued in her soft voice, "My name is Betanya. You are the first one we've successfully reincarnated without any major issues. Welcome to your new life." She seemed to be calming herself as she spoke.

Sharlindra remained silent, taking in everything around her. Her eyes, though not wide open, darted around vividly. Then her expression changed.

Her gaze fixated on a part of herself that she hadn't thought about at first. On her backside, something was moving slowly, sweeping the floor with it.

It was a giant tail attached to her spine, the same color as her skin and mostly covered in purple scales. It was as long as a serpent and as thick as a leg.

"Are you a furry?" She wrinkled her nose, her voice expressing displeasure.

"Eh!" Betanya withdrew from Sharlindra. "I-I'm sorry, but what is a furry?" Betanya's voice became increasingly confused.

"Okay… Can you remove that costume? It's freaking me out here." Sharlindra cleaned off the parts where she had been touched by the draconic humanoid from before.

"Oh no, are you one of those people who like exhi—"

Sharlindra interrupted, her expression not blushing but showing disgust. "No, I mean the tail, that freaking tail of yours!"

An awkward silence appeared between the two of them as they looked at each other. Then Betanya reacted, giggling, lifting her mood to be more relaxed than before.

"Oh no! This is not a costume!" She moved the tail upwards and downwards, then in circles, and even scratched the back of her head with it as if it were her arm.

Sharlindra observed in amazement the mobility of it, then looked at her even more closely. She noticed how Betanya closed her eyes horizontally and how she emitted a visible aura. Every single detail.

Then realization struck. "This is a different world... What happened?"

"Oh yes. So, we summon multiple souls, including yours, to be reincarnated and become a part of our world so you can thrive and live happily here, and all that." Betanya tried to explain.

"I don't buy it... Why not?"

"I'm afraid I don't know, Sharli," Betanya said, trying to force a sincere smile.

"Sharli? Is that a nickname? Whatever. Can I get some clothes, please? Though I must say... my body is beautiful."

"Of course! Sir, could you bring the clothes prepared for her?"

A man who had been standing behind Sharlindra for the duration of their conversation walked toward them. He wore a goat skull creature as a helmet and had a muscular physique. In his hands, he held a finely crafted dress.

Now, let's describe Sharlindra.

Sharlindra had beautiful, pale-looking skin resembling white snow. Her sharp face, excellent nose, black eyes, and soft thin lips gave her the appearance of a gothic ghost.

Despite her height of two hundred twenty-two centimeters, her body remained as slender as a ballet dancer's. She wore a black ball gown layered dress with vampire decorations on its off-shoulder neckline.

In summary, she was a tall gothic woman wearing a Victorian gothic dress for those uninterested in fashion or details.

"This is truly beautiful. It feels like I'm in a dream," the man who brought the dress said, offering a slight bow as he worked on the final touches and adjusted the dress.

"Thank the goddess you like it," Betanya said, seemingly calming down as she admired the dark and white beauty in front of her.

She continued, "The followers of Tabied usually create clothing based on the powers and personality of the wearer, but we didn't know your personality yet, and we weren't sure if you would like it, hehe..."

Sharlindra replied, pleased, "I'd love to make some recommendations for them later. But for now, may I ask... What now?"

"What do— Oh, right! Sorry, I got a bit carried away. Well, it's been two weeks since your soul was extracted. Don't worry; the time here mostly matches your planet's time. We've detected that you are compatible with three different types of Remenant, so—"

"Remenant? Is that how you call magic here?"

"Yes, but please let me finish first."

Sharlindra only rolls her eyes impatiently.

"Since you possess three different types of Remenant, you have been assigned to Clyon's Democratic Nation as their first slave. We'll arrive tomorrow morning, and in the meantime, I'll teach you everything you need to know," Betanya announced, her fake smile hiding her unease.

"Slave?!"

She tried to move, but like a recently paralyzed person, her body fell with

"Well, this is-s an expected reaction. Sir, could you bring the Remenant-infused bracelets?"

The follower of Tabied nodded, taking a wooden box and pulling up the enhanced bracelets.

"Wait, what?" Sharlindra began to ask, but due to her weakened state from recently waking up, she was unable to resist the brutal force of the man who had helped her into the dress earlier.

"Get off me, you big, worthless brute! Stop! Don't do it! I said, stop it!" She fought with claws and kicks, but they did little to deter the hulking behemoth.

In the next moment, tightly interlocked shackles adorned her wrists, forcing her to keep her arms close together. A strange aura began to flow through her, but she didn't feel any immediate changes.

"Get the—"

The moment she attempted to speak, an intense pain coursed through her entire body, as if something mercilessly tore her apart. Her screams filled the room, making the onlooker uncomfortable.

The man spoke as the distressed woman writhed on the floor, "Shouldn't we have warned the slave first, before anything else?"

"You know... You're right. We should consult the Soulseizers for modifications as well. We used too much strength... Look, Miss Sharlindra, I'm sorry, but it's for your good."

After some time, the pain subsided when she stopped screaming. Betanya attempted to help her, but Sharlindra pushed herself against a wall, partly standing up and partly crouching, glaring at both of them with intense hatred.

Betanya addressed her, "Listen, Miss Sharlindra, we don't have much choice here. You remember everything, so I won't try to hide it from you. Your planet has been conquered, and your education comes first. But..."

Betanya opened the door, revealing a group of people on the other side who had been discussing, or at least, they were until the door opened. They stood there silently, their attention shifting between Betanya and Sharlindra.

"There are some matters we need to resolve first. I'll explain everything to you. But hey, you're lucky!~"

Sharlindra was about to respond, but then she looked away, barely moving an inch and maintaining her impassive expression.

"It's the democratic nation, the one with the most mercy and freedom of them all!~ Unless they conscript you for the wars... Tehe!"

Sharlindra's face underwent a radical transformation. Her eyes widened, but no words escaped her trembling lips. Her breath came in shallow sobs, and her entire body quivered.

"Look... I understand your anger, but those cuffs are meant to keep you out of trouble... Do you understand that?" Betanya inquired.

After a prolonged silence, Sharlindra slowly nodded.

Betanya moved to her side, helping her stand up and walking alongside her.

"Look on the bright side, every reincarnated human will be a slaves as well! And perhaps you'll get lucky and develop three different powers! Now..."

They began walking down the corridor, avoiding anyone who might provoke them, leaving the Tabied follower behind in the room.

"Let me explain your new Remnant powers."

Back on Earth, Clem shouted, "WHAT?!"

I may try to mantain the concept of having each chapter 1,5k words from now on. Is just a bit hard to imagine and write everyday a bit, i want to do other stuff you know?

But my body is weird...I sleep 8 hours.

Perhaps thats why the other people drink coffee...They may not have enough time for their hobbies!
