19. Worry

The prophecy about apocalypse was quite common in the internet.

In fact, many people even used it as a joke and topic of discussion. Not to mention, the countless novels about the apocalypse that attracted people's attention.

There were too many to count.

Anna was not completely unfamiliar with them and even had read some stories in her spare time. But she always treated them as nothing more than stories, which was far away from reality.

Not to mention, most of these books were about the superpower that humans could have and some kind of evolution.

No one would treat these books seriously.

Including Anna.

But looking at the pouring down water outside, Anna had the faint feeling that the so called apocalypse might exist. Even if it was not exactly like those books, it was still coming in different form to her.

Shaking her head, Anna tried her best not to think too much.

This rain just made her think too badly about her situation, which was not good. Now that she was living alone, she had too much time to think about unnecessary matters.

But she couldn't help and look at the kitchen.

In the end, Anna spend the entire morning pouring water into her space for drinking. She hoped that this water will be enough for a long time because she didn't know how long it would last.

When it was time for lunch, Anna made her way to Dylan's apartment.

Knock! Knock!

"Coming." Dylan came out and saw Anna. He smiled. "Training today?"

"After lunch, then."

"It's not good to exercise right after eating." Dylan shook his head. "How about if we all four play together and then train in the evening before dinner?"

Anna thought about it and nodded. "I'll call Lucy."

"Ok."

The lunch was relatively simple. Seeing the kitchen, Anna guessed that Dylan was busy to make dried food that would last longer. It seemed that the worry about the apocalypse also appeared in Dylan's heart.

But there was no point in worrying all day long.

After eating, the two of them went upstairs. There were more games and so on in Lucy's place.

"You're finally here." Lucy smiled happily when he saw Anna coming. "I have cleaned up a bit, so there's more space to move."

Anna glanced at the stack of boxes at the side speechlessly. It was estimated that Lucy simply piled up everything on the side. She looked at her best friend helplessly. "You're no longer living alone but you still can't clean up?"

"I already clean up. That's not mine." Lucy glared at Mark on the back, who escaped to the kitchen.

Anna laughed.

"What do you want to play? How about playing cards?" Lucy asked. "We can play it with four people."

"Sure. I'm the king of luck and will definitely win." Mark popped his head from the kitchen with a smile.

"You? It's Anna who's the king of luck." Lucy shook her head.

"Meow~." Kitty didn't want to lose.

"Do you want to play too, Kitty?" Lucy wanted to hug Kitty, but the naughty cat jumped to the sofa. "Tsk, this cat only remembered you and not me."

Lucy is very dissatisfied with Kitty's bias.

"Shall we start?" Anna laughed.

"Alright."

They sat around the table and started to play the card. Kitty was running around on their feet while they played the cards.

But looking at the cards that was tilting towards Anna, the others were speechless.

It seemed the luck was in Anna's favor today.

Boom!

There was lightning outside and everyone turned their head to the window. Even if it has been raining heavily, there were not many thunders. So even if the sound of water knocking the window was noisy, it still didn't disturb them much.

"If there's someone outside, that might kill them," Lucy commented.

"Don't make such a scary prophecy." Anna pushed Lucy a bit, not wanting to think about that. This flood alone might have already eaten a lot of casualties on the way, which was not really a good news.

"Hmm." Lucy nodded and looked at the group chat. Suddenly, her expression turned cold. "Anna, did you block that b*stard?"

"Of course I block him." After that damn party, Anna blocked everyone from Williams' Family. She had no interest to interact with them now that she was no longer part of their family.

Anyway, her household residence was also outside of that family.

It was handed over to her during that party.

To be exact, they leave it on her desk, letting her know that this decision was irreversible and Anna was no longer part of Williams' Family.

"No wonder they clamored in the group."

Anna frowned and took out her phone to check.
