Officially, there existed three stages to a knight's sword:

• Mana Veil: A thin veil of mana layering over the sword's edges.

• Mana blade: A state where the blade of the sword was strengthened with a much denser veil of mana than the [Mana Veil].

• Mana Sword: A state where a dense layer of mana envelopes the whole sword, enhancing its mana amplification, sharpness, and strengthens the whole sword even if it is the worst(est) of the kind.

But,

Unofficially, there were four.

The last one and the strongest of them all was an [Unnamed] or an [Unrecorded] state of sword where one is able to create swords made of mana, merely by willing for it.

Some of the powerhouses who were aware of this state called it

[MIND SWORD]

Swithin was able to wield [Mana Blade] to the peak of the technique's proficiency, but he has yet to reach the next state, for reasons he couldn't understand.
