"I heard you two addressing each other as husband and wife, right? Are you always living together?" Sherry Woods asked tentatively.
She had stopped pressing about the previous topic, asking just enough, but if she had asked more thoroughly, it would have been too much.
"Mhm, Suri and I, we live together, in the same room," Yigol Novak nodded.
Just as his words fell, Suri Drew pinched his side and simultaneously explained to Sherry Woods, "Mom, that's not true, he's just talking nonsense. I'm the one calling him my husband, we're not what you think."
"The past few days, his sister came, she arrived in a hurry and had nowhere to sleep, so I let him make a makeshift bed in my room. There's nothing between us, you're being paranoid, why would you say such nonsense?" The more Suri explained, the redder her face got.
With a warning look from Suri, Yigol quickly nodded, "Yes, yes, yes, I do share a room with Suri, but I sleep on a makeshift bed, that's true."
