When we were asked to leave the room, I thought their talk would be short, but it had been half an hour already. Because this mansion is filled with magic formations, I couldn't hear anything about what they were saying. Those silent spells were mostly set for me so I could have fun anywhere I wanted without being disturbed.

I was in the living room, near Mom's office, waiting for them to finish their talk. While I had mixed feelings about what they were talking about, it was best that I just waited because I was never sure what that mother of mine was thinking about.
