To the base

"I need to call in the league to clean up this ... mess but it would be a good idea to investigate the direction the Magma team leader fled to." She said hesitating slightly when describing the scene around us. I nodded in understanding "That's fine , I have a feeling the base won't be expecting us to break down their door anyways." I said with a smirk. Flannery didn't question that rather ominous statement from me and got on her own pokenav to make a series of calls before mounting her Staraptor. -

"Recall your team it will be faster to go over the volcano through the air so you'll need to ride behind me on Sunny here." she said while patting the back of the large red bird pokemon. I did as instructed while my team didn't voice any complaints either. Not that I had much to complain about anyway as the Sunny didn't have much room to sit on so Flannery was basically riding on my lap. She had a toned tight body and nice small but soft ass so I got a little excited at the intimate contact. -

With as much as I was packing even if I stopped myself from going full mast it was definitely more than enough for Flannery to feel it pressing against my shorts. The bright red of her ears as we flew through the air was confirmation enough of this even if I couldn't see her face itself. As much as I wanted to pay attention to the wonderous view that being so high up gave I had my eye trained on the volcano as we traveled down it's length. While everything was blurry in my x-ray vision I still spotted the entrance of the base as it was denser than the surrounding stone making it stand out like a sore thumb to me.-

"There!" I called out so that she could hear me over the wind and pointed at the spot. She nodded and leaned forward to command sunny to land on that outcropping. We both dismounted the bird upon landing and she looked at the stone wall in confusion. "This looks the same as everywhere else though?" She questioned and I shook my head and point at a small indent on the wall that was in some shadows but was clearly electronic in nature.-

"How did you even see that from so far up?" she asked amazed at the discovery. "I have really good eyesight. Now stand back so i can get us in here." I said firmly while releasing Gaia on the outcropping. "Dig around here until you can get a grip on the doorway and pull it out." I commanded and Flannery watched as Gaia tore through the hard stone like sand before with a groan of metal and stone cracking ripped the entire doorframe and door of the base out of the surrounding stone. In it's place a gapping hole that was lit up with artificial light within it.-

Flannery had a serious expression seeing this and pulled out a small black box and pressed a button at the top of it. The box expanded and opened up into a pole with a light at the top that flashed brightly. "A signal for the other league people on their way?" I asked and she nodded. "You are in charge of this operation so whats our combat parameters?" I asked after figuring out the purpose of the device. She looked surprised at this but seemed to realize I was throwing her a bone as if this goes well it will quiet the people who are rebelling against the younger generation of gym leaders.-

It wasn't a huge issue for legacy gym leaders like Flannery whose family has run the gym for three generations and been the leader of Lavaridge for even longer. But the fact that quite a few Gym leaders that are replacing the older generation of leaders are below the age of thirty has been causing some discord with the older generation of the population. Many are worried that even if these new leaders are powerful they are too inexperienced to take the responsibilities that come with the position.-

Taking down a criminal organization or even just dealing it a devastating blow would secure a great deal of support for these young gym leaders in the general population. I figured that I would let Flannery take charge of most of this raid as a favor to her and to earn me some good will with the other leaders when she inevitably tells them. The only part I wasn't going to compromise on was that if we get the chance Maxie is going to die. He created team Magma from scratch once and if he gets even the smallest chance of escape he could do it again.-

I would rather not be called to deal with that so the man was going to die today if I get the opportunity. I made this clear before we entered the base and despite looking rather uncomfortable about it Flannery agreed. The moment I stepped in the base however I got a new quest from the system. Pausing slightly to read it while I released my remaining team and recalled Gaia since she was too big to fit I frowned slightly at the details.

[Quest conditions established!

Rewards: 5x exp tickets , ???(Reward based on performance)(optional) , 2x ability tickets(Optional) , ??????(Optional)]

The first two objectives were to be expected but the last two gave me a VERY bad feeling. "Capture and as a last resort kill everyone in here and make it fast I have a bad feeling about this!" I commanded my team and the made affirmations. Flannery released her team as well and obviously they were all fire type but the selection was impressive. She had her fire variant Staraptor of course but then she also had a Camerupt , Houndoom , Typhlosion , Magcargo and Blaziken. Each and every one was over level one hundred and I even knew where one of them came from.-

The Typhlosion was a gift from her grandfather who was simply called Mr. Moore nowadays but used to be the gym leader and had an extremely powerful champion tier Typhlosion on his team. My guess was that this one here was a child of that same Typhlosion and was certainly doing it's parent proud as an elite pokemon. Unlike it's father that had decades of experience and training to reach champion tier power this one was very young as far as I understand and yet was already well on it's way to catching up to it's parent.
