Ship wreck

In the morning when I woke up to the salty sea air and gentle sound of the waves I smiled a small amount before returning to normal and getting up to start my daily workout. I didn't wake up my pokemon since they would likely wake up on their own soon enough. The exception to that was Tank who was awake on guard duty. "Morning Tank , anything worth reporting?" I asked and the sturdy bug shook its head. I nodded at that and let him climb onto his usual spot on my shoulder as I stepped out of the shelter.-

I was a bit surprised to see the few local pokemon I fed the previous night sleeping near the shelter but chose to leave them be as I walked by. Once on the beach away from the shelter I started my workout with the squats as a warm up before moving to the next exercise and then the next until I was done. By the time I finished up my workout the rest of my pokemon were up and about with Rune being the most friendly of the bunch towards the local pokemon that had also woken up.-

The sleep schedule that I follow was by no means unique to me and in fact was followed by quite a few different species in this world after all. "Would any of you happen to know where I can find the ship that sank near here recently?" I asked the local pokemon and most of them looked confused but the Corsola nodded. "Can you show me?" I asked and again it nodded before starting to walk towards the sea. I reached into my satchel bag and took out the goggles I bought knowing that I would eventually end up in water at some point and put them on.-

I then reached down and picked up the Corsola "It will be faster if I carry you." I explained when it gave me a confused look. "You guys and girl hang out here while I am gone and if all goes well I should be back in a few hours." I said and the all wished me luck. All except Vulcan who as it turned out was in fact waterproof and could swim but really disliked getting wet on principle. I couldn't help but laugh at this even when it glared at me.-

Still Vulcan and I followed the Corsolas directions and entered the water. Near the shore the water was sandy and hard to see through but as we went deeper it got clearer as the sand wasn't getting kicked up anymore. There I saw a vast collection of sea life from fish , clams , corals , pokemon and assorted plantlife everywhere. The normal sea life avoided us timidly while the pokemon saw us and besides being curious mostly minded their own business. There was a Carvanha that tried to take a bite out of me but the Corsola in my arm got rid of it with a use of spike cannon.-

On a side note I would like to say that swimming with one arm carrying a decently heavy object was a pain in the ass. But physically hard enough to be an issue but it had it's own unique sort of challenge. Funny thing was that I had totally forgotten to check the level of the Corsola until it attacked the Carvanha but after I did I sudden felt REALLY glad I was on good terms with it. Apparently this particular pink coral pokemon was level one hundred and thirteen which made it the second strongest pokemon I had ever met and I was carrying it like a small child , what a time to be alive.-

After about an hour of constant swimming though we finally reached the ship wreck and it was not a pretty sight. There was a rock formation just under the water nearby that had damage from when the ship hit it with the storm probably hiding it from whoever was sailing it. The ship itself had a massive hole in it's side from where the rock ripped it open on impact thus consigning it to the depths.-

I had Vulcan wait on the rock while I thanked the Corsola and set it down so I had my hands free for the dive. "Let me take a small break here for a few minutes and then I'll head down there to see if I can scavenge anything good." I said as i sat on the edge of the rock. The Corsola nodded and to my surprise started to hop down the rock towards the ship wreck. 'Well at least I don't think I'll need to worry about getting attacked underwater.' I thought as I watched it go.-

After about fifteen minutes I finally stepped off the rock and took a deep breath before diving down into the water towards the ship. The Corsola had already arrived and had pushed a few crates out into the open. I gave it a thumbs up before drawing my spear from my back an using it to pry open the crates to see what they contained. The first one released a multicolored pulpy mess that the Corsola happily sucked out of the water column which told me that it was probably a crate of berries that the sea water had broken down but hadn't claimed yet since the crate was sealed still.-

After poking around in the crate to make sure that there wasn't any hidden objects in the crate of fruit I moved onto the second crate. Prying it open It was revealed to be a container full of berry slush again. I needed to get a fresh breath of air by this point and swam to the surface to exhale and then inhale deeply before diving down again. The third crate was different as it was chock full of sopping wet cloth that was totally ruined from the soak.-

I had to be extra thorough with searching the crate as it was a pain to unravel the bundles but again there was nothing else in the crate. Going up for another breath I was beginning to think that the system was messing with me as after that I opened the last three crates that the Corsola had brought me but it was all plain stuff. Helpless that this wasn't going to be such an easy recovery job I swam towards the cabin of the ship. The ship wasn't very large so it probably only had two or three people operating it in my opinion so I was going to check the quarters next.-

The inside of the ship was just as tossed and disorderly as the outside with the buoyant items stuck to the ceiling that was trapping them within. There were a few super potions and even a full heal amongst those so I grabbed them and left to get more air as well as placing them in my bag. The cool thing about Devon corp bags were that they were waterproof so long as they weren't opened underwater which meant I only needed to climb the rock for a moment to store these things before being good to go.
