"Call someone and have them bring

your household register, make sure they get there before us.."

Liu Duoduo said coldly not caring if Mu Yichen heard or answered her, she felt so angry, so hurt that she had nothing left to say.

All she wanted to know was the truth but somehow the truth was the hardest thing for him to say.

She saw him type out a string of number on his phone from the corners of her eyes as he made a call.

"Butler Chen send someone to bring my household register to the bureau of civil affair also send my son and Miss Yang to the mansion.."

Liu Duoduo watched the cars pass them, she chuckled deprecatedly she left China filled with sadness now she had returned and she faced the same thing.

Life be playing games on her, she guessed.

"Little thing?.."

"Don't call me that name...you're not the man I once thought i knew.."

Mu Yichen forcefully let out a breath because he felt he couldn't breathe anymore when he heard Liu Duoduo's words.

He could only mutter"..Understood.."

When they got to the bureau of civil affairs, they saw butler Chen waiting for them at the entrance.

He passed the household register and the file to Mu Yichen and lead them inside, they were informed in advance that Mu Yichen would be coming so they had prepared everything.

Soon what was left was to take a picture, the photographer sighed the woman's face was too gloomy while the man's was unusually cold.

"Can you at least smile since you came here you should know that this picture would be for a lifetime.."

Liu Duoduo nodded and mustered the brightest smile, her pain, her sadness, her anger, she poured everything into this one smile.

The photographer took the picture with a click and soon they had presented the red marriage certificate to the couple.

"Congratulations young master Mu and young madam we wish you a happy married life.."

Liu Duoduo looked at the marriage certificate in her hands as he eyes reddened once more, this was not how she imagined she would marry Mu Yichen.

"Are you happy now.."

"I was..before I came back to China..."she replied as she was walked passed him, right now all she wanted to do was to see her son and hug him.

Mu Yichen closed his eyes, she had said it all there was nothing he could do, she was finally here with him but still so out of reach why and because he had made it so.

"Please take me to see my son.."

The driver drove straight to Moon shadow District this was the most expensive district in the capital, Liu Duoduo was not surprised to see he had a house here.

Nuonuo has already woken up and had been crying for his mummy, he had woken up only to see his mummy had disappeared and he was inside his bastard father's house, he couldn't even find Auntie Ran.

"You! Auntie where's my mother.."

"The young madam is on her way with the master they'll be here son young master .."

Nanny Xia replied as she held out a tray of snacks for the Nuonuo, he looked at the tray coldly and walked away.

He sighted a black car from afar and ran towards the door, Liu Duoduo got down from the car and walked towards the door only to see Nuonuo running out of the house.

"Mummy where have you been, who made you cry, you know it's hurts my heart to see my darling mummy cry.."

"Mummy went to settle some things with your father, and cry..Mummy is just so happy to see her handsome son that she couldn't help but shed tears. Now come say hi to your father.."

Liu Duoduo carried Nuonuo to where Mu Yichen was standing and dropped him there, Mu Yichen blinked as he felt his heart race this was his son, he was finally seeing him in the flesh, he couldn't help but admit they looked awfully alike.

The father and son looked at each other for a long time before Nuonuo finally moved.

"I'm Nuonuo..I guess you should be my father since you look similar to me a lot,but I don't want a daddy that makes my mummy sad.."

Mu Yichen walked to Nuonuo wanting to pick him up but the little guy took a step him away from Mu Yichen's reach.

"You have no idea how I've been dreaming for this moment Nuonuo..I just want you to know that daddy always wanted you. Things were complicated back then,so I couldn't show up it's hurts me more to know I've missed the most precious moments of your life.."

Mu Yichen also looked at Liu Duoduo who had her back facing them, looking at the scene Liu Duoduo couldn't help but cry, she felt her heart was going to burst.
