For this entire month, 40 days in a month, ten days a week, there wasn't a day that all of them could return to their own rooms peacefully. They felt drained and vulnerable.
Cuts and bruises erupted across their arms, torsos, skin, and faces, a testament to the ferocity of the battles that they had been facing these days.
Either they returned with their limbs broken, their skin was torn apart, their blood was drained, or their hearts beat with a newfound intensity, battered and bruised, and they couldn't help but wonder if it was all worth it.
The fourth elder continued to push them to the limits of their endurance, wanting to see how long they could last. Would they retreat and regroup? Only time would tell if they had what it took to overcome the heavy wounds of training their physical and spiritual bodies.
"These people are too much! Not only did they make us live in hell, they didn't even give us healing pills."
