Wedding Day

Lu Jueyu sat in a daze on the bed, and reality slowly came to her. Today is her wedding. Although she was still nervous and excited, she was much calmer than before. After all, she spent a lot of time brainwashing herself in her own space. 

After the government abolished religious beliefs, most people stopped holding wedding ceremonies. But some people still hold wedding ceremonies except for offering incense to the gods. So when Lu Jueyu went to the backyard, Mother Lu quickly peel a boiled egg and asked her to eat it while taking a bath. 

After Lu Jueyu was done taking a bath, she was led by Chen Anwen to the living room. The table is full of dishes prepared by her mother and sisters-in-law. There is braised duck, steamed chicken, fish soup, and rice noodle soup. Besides that, there were four small plates, two with soy sauce and the other two with a bit of sugar.
