[Yuito's POV]
I could still hear the deafening sound of the crowd but as my opponent got closer and closer to me, they fade away, leaving a muffled echo.
The bright lights, the cameras, the judges, and the crowd all blurred away like smoke in the wind. I was alone, in that octagon with my opponent.
In the silence and isolation, I could feel the world tremble with each big step he made as he came at me.
His plan was simple, surprise me by charging at me the moment the bell rang, use his huge frame to make me panic, and easily finish me off before I got my bearings.
It was a flawless plan from an outsider's perspective. I was young and inexperienced with this being my first MMA match. Not to mention I was way smaller than my opponent
The only flaw to this plan was me.
I was 'him'
I should cower and panic but it was the opposite.
The closer he came to me the calmer I got. I never feared my opponent, even if I was nervous before, it was because of the event and never the fighters.
I bent my knees and got ready to face the incoming violence. My heartbeat quickened to match the pace of his steps.
*Thum* *Thum* *Thum*
I took a sharp breath when my opponent threw a big hook at me. He put his whole momentum and weight behind that one attack. I'm afraid a normal person would die if they were to get hit by it.
But in the face of such an attack, I showed no hesitation. It was extremely slow from my perspective. It felt like the time we would play as a kid and fight in slow motion.
I leaped from my place and brought my knees up. It was a Muay Thai technique, the flying knee.
His hook missed me because I closed the distance too fast. His fist went behind my back but his arm still hit me at my waist and it had enough force to push me sideways while I was mid-air.
Just goes to show how powerful the hook was.
But it did not matter. My knees met his jaw and with his momentum and my power, he stood no chance.
It was so brutal that his jaw broke even though he was wearing a mouthguard.
His body fell face first on the ground like a doll and his body went into random mode. He was unconscious but his body continued rolling and moving on the floor.
Like an earthworm getting cut in half. He writhe on the floor of the octagon.
I took out my mouthguard, "Fuck around and find out." and put it back in again.
I did not even go after him to get the KO and simply jogged to a corner and observed as he struggled to get back up.
It took time but eventually, his consciousness snapped back, and he breathe heavily.
Since I was not going after him, the referee gave him a chance to get up and when he did, he looked like he had taken a quick trip to heaven.
He walked around with his hands on his waist and looked at me in shock and confusion before they turned to anger.
What I did was absolute disrespect as a fighter. To not finish him and give him a chance to get back up again, it was like I was mocking him.
But it needed to be done. I was not only aiming for the win but to get signed in the UFC. I needed to not only win but win in style and get the people's attention.
Although knocking him out was a great way to win a fight, they could claim it was a fluke.
I needed to impress and imprint myself on their mind.
..Also, I haven't had enough yet. I wanted more.
My opponent got to a proper stance and slowly came towards me. I also did the same and took a boxing stance.
We met at the center of the octagon and began exchanging hands. There was no testing the waters or searching for an opening.
My opponent was too enraged for those and we immediately engaged in a brawl.
But it was a mistake because I was much much faster and more skilled than he was. He probably reached this far in his fighting career because he was a weight bully.
He hit my shoulders, my arms, and even my chest but he could never find my vital parts. Meanwhile, I focused on speed and gave him many shots to the head.
I focused purely on my speed and deliberately held back my power to not knock him out.
I moved before he did. I began my counterattack before he even started his attack.
I was ahead of him not only by a step but by a whole mile.
In the time he took one powerful swing, I hit him three times.
Then he finally dodged one of my punches by slipping to the left. Since punching does not work against me, he tried a new way to hurt me.
A leg kick.
I was in the middle of pulling back my power punch when the kick came at my leg. Right when it was about to hit my front leg, I used my speed to change my stance quickly.
From orthodox to southpaw.
Now my front leg was on the back and he missed gorgeously.
There was an opening in his head but I did not hit him. Instead, I gave him a leg kick as well but I aimed for his back foot and at the back of his knee.
I kicked him right at his hamstring and he buckled since he had his weight focused on that leg when he threw the leg kick.
He fell down and due to his weight, he fell l down hard. His leg bent and he screamed in pain. I was pretty sure he would have an injury on his leg after this.
I couldn't find it in my heart to torture him anymore and give him mercy in the form of a hammer fist that descended from the sky.
Without even needing the referee, I stopped at one hammer fist as my opponent blacked out instantly.
I walked away from my fallen opponent and doctors and the referee quickly went to check on him. It was then that the crowd came back to my senses
Everyone was standing up from their seat and screaming and shouting. I pushed my fingers through my hair and smiled at the enthusiastic crowd.
I saw my face on the big screen and I walked around the octagon while waving at them. I did not know how to celebrate.
Then I was announced the winner by KO. The fight lasted for 1 minute and 9 seconds.
After that, I went back to the locker room to await my next fight. The match was nearly not enough for me, it was only a teaser of what was to come.
When I entered the locker room, the people there looked at me with a different gaze. It was no longer that of condescension, instead, their eyes were wary.
It was good, I liked these gaze more.
Munseoung was also looking at me with a deep frown on his face. If I have to guess the righteous guy was not appreciative of how I played with my opponent.
I shrugged.
{That was awesome dude.}
'And you thought I was going to lose.'
{I guess the bigger they are the harder they fall.}
'Exactly.'

[3rd POV]
"HE DID IT!!! YESSS!!!"
In the Fujita household, three girls and a wolf could be seen jumping and dancing around while looking at the TV screen which was streaming the Absolute Championship live.
And their beloved Yuito had just won.
"I knew he would do it!! I never doubted him." Sumire said while holding her hand over her still-beating heart.
She lied and everyone knew it. She was so nervous at the start of the match when she saw Yuito fighting someone so much bigger that it almost felt like she was the one fighting.
Komi, who was usually quiet also jumped around happy like a cat. Her stoic expression showed as much excitement as it could.
Komi had already gotten to know Fujita's mother when they went to the beach so they were no strangers. She was even invited to watch the stream in his house like this which Komi was very grateful for.
"*Woooooo*" Kurumi was howling as her tail wagged excitedly. In her mind, she was excited, 'Maser won! Master won!'
They have been watching the live stream since the start and they even got to see how he comments on coming home to them soon that left them all a blushing mess.
Although they could not accompany him due to various reasons, they gave their all to cheering him on from there.
Especially when they saw him walking backstage alone with no one to hug him or congratulate him after he won, absolutely crushed their heart and made them angry at themselves for not being there for him.
It especially affected Sumire who thought she failed as a mother. She regretted her decision with every fiber of her being.
While the other fighters who won got hugged and enjoyed their win with their friends, coaches, and families who supported them, he was all alone.
All he had was the crowd full of strangers cheering for him. This might let others believe that he was not lonely but Sumire saw the truth.
She held off her tears and just cheered him on and prayed to every single god for the safety of her son.
"Oh shit. He is so hot!!" Marin jumped in her place restlessly while shaking her hand like a little girl.
"I'm horny!!" She said suddenly, leaving Komi to blush and nod her head in agreement
Only Sumire seemed to be unaffected as the one with the most self-control was and because she. was busy hating herself for letting him be alone.
Anyway, it was a nice day in the Fujita household.
