Shadow's POV

We walk towards the a room and Bellamy scanned the card but it didn't work, causing him to do it again. "Bellamy, come in" Ravens voice says over the radio. "Yeah we're a little busy here Raven" Bellamy hissed out. "You guys missed check in. Did you find the source of the acid fog yet?" Raven asked as we walked down another hall. "We're making our way there now" Bellamy informed her. "It's taking us longer than we thought" I tell Raven. "I don't know enough to crack it on this end" Raven says. "You've gotta give me something" Rave says. "We're working on it" Bellamy huffed in annoyance. We walked over to another door and Bellamy scanned the key card but it didn't work. "Something wrong" Bellamy stated. "What?" Raven asked. "My key card isn't working" he informed her. "That's not good" she says. "We need to find another way in" I tell Bellamy. "Call you back" Bellamy tells Raven. "Stay right there! Hands in the air!" I hear guards shout. Bellamy and I take off running up the stairs. "In pursuit of the target. It's not lovejoy. Repeat! Not lovejoy!" The guard shouted. An alarm blares through the air as we run faster, the guard chasing behind us. We reached the stairs and run down them. "You're surrounded! There's no way out!" The guards screamed at us. "Keep your eyes open! Do you see them?" I hear over the radio before using my elbow as the guard comes around tue corner. I then punch him in the face and he falls on the ground. "Garza what's your status?" I hear as Bellamy grabbed the card from the guards pocket. "Garza? Do you see him?" The man asked. I pick up the gun and follows Bellamy over to the door as he used the key card. We stepped inside and he shut the door behind us.

We rushed back to Mayas place, knocking on the door. It opened and I see Vincent's face. "We need your help" I whispered. He opened the door, letting us both inside. "It's all over the radio. They know about you" Vincent says. "Anyone see you come here?" He then asked. "No. We've been keeping in the vents and un-monitored halls" I tell him. "Vincent?" A guard asked. I whipped out my gun so fast "It's okay! Lee is with us!" Vincent says, holding his hands out to me. "Dante was like a father to me. Some of us don't agree with Cages agenda" he explained. "Where's Jasper, Monty, Elizabeth and Maya?" Bellamy asked. "They're okay" Vincent tells us. "Thanks to Lee we moved them to a wing that's already been searched" He says. I lowered my gun "isn't that a risk?" I asked. "We had no choice. They've gone public with what happened in level 5. They're saying you killed 10 guards. I don't know how much longer we can keep this shell game going" Vincent tells us. "Did you take out the acid fog yet?" He then asked. "No..." Bellamy sighs. "That's why we're here. We're gonna need another route" I say to him. "Way ahead of you" he says, walking over his wall. "You can get there through the retrofit zone" he grabbed a map and lied it out on a table. "They're off limits, no camera, no patrols. We used some to move the kids and that's your other route" he explained before handing Bellamy something. "You'll also gonna need this. An acetylene torch" he says. "Go to the northwest corridor...." He begins explaining.

Bellamy used the torch to open gate to the vent. We both climbed out and I turned my head to see that we were in the right place. We climbed up the few pipes and railings before Bellamy breaks the lock and out an ax on the door. "Come on Raven. We made it. Hope you have a plan" Bellamy says to her. "We're still working on it. Give us something to go on" she says. "What do you see?" She asked. "Huge steel vat, looks like a submarine"Bellamy explained. "Sole other thanks with chemical formulas" I added. "Warning labels" Bellamy tells her. "Bunch of pipes going into the wall" he added. "A monitor" I say as I passed by it. "Oh! Go to the monitor" a mans voice tells me. "Hello you you too..." I laughed as I walked over to it. "Don't mind Wick. He's not really helping" Raven tells me. "Hey Bellamy. How's my boy Monty going?" Wick asked. "Fine, yeah" Bellamy tells him. "I don't know for how long" He stated. "Great, pleasantries over" I say. "Alright, listen if that monitor is a control panel we can use it to kill this thing" he tells me. "Look for a pH scale" he instructed. "Right, it has a scale but the rest is S3, V2,O5...H2, s2,O7" I read on. "Can I just blow this thing?" I sigh. "No...they know their defenses are down" Wick tells me. "They'll send a tech to fix it. Reroute it or pull out a weapon we don't even know about" he explained. "Plus, you'll probably melt your face off" Raven added. "Look you know I like a good explosion but we gotta think our way through this one" Raven says. "We can do this...here we go" Raven stated. "Okay Uh...level indicator" Bellamy suggested. "No" Wick responded. "You see an an actuator anywhere" Raven asked. "I have no idea what that is" I tell her. " maintenance and cleaning?" I asked. "Ella go to that subdirectory. See if there's anything there that says passivation" Wick says. I click on a few things "I'm on it...says Aqueous sodium hydroxide bath" I tell him. "That's a base. That'll neutralize the acid. Select that" Wick tells me. I click on it and the machines start up "It's doing something" I say. "You should be able to hear the pump" Raven says. "We can hear them" I stated. "The needle is moving, pH is rising" I explained. The needle kept rising until it was done. "Passivation successful" I smiled. "Alright...send the flares" I tell Raven. "Roger that" Raven says. I couldn't believe it, we actually did it. I looked over at Bellamy before he grabbed me and placed his lips onto mine. "They're coming Bell..." I whispered to him. I turned my head, knitting my brows together when I see a dial. I wipe it off to see the pH is normal. "Bellamy..." I say. "Raven! We've got a problem" I tell her. "Damn it, where are you? I don't think the acid fog is down. Get word to Clarke. We have to stop the army!" I shouted. "Raven!" Bellamy the shouts. "Raven? What's going on?" I asked her. "No...no no!" I banged my hand on the machine. An alarm blares through the air. "We were set up!" I shouted as people bang on the door. "Drop your weapon!" Guards come rushing inside and Bellamy and me take of running. We duck behind a machine. I run and jump into the vent and Bellamy does after me. Bellamy hands me my gun and as the guards peek their head in I shoot at them. I keep shooting until I'm out and Bellamy and I crawl away fast. Suddenly the whole vent shakes and I fall right on top of Bellamy. "Bellamy!" We both crawl faster and I jumped out with Bellamy just in time before the fire hit us. Bellamy covers my head with his arms. "Bellamy....wh-what did you do?" I coughed as we rolled on our backs. "I blew up their defense" he chuckled. "You could have warn me!" I laughed, almost dying once again.
