See, Midas used to have a good friend called Amelia who Midas felt could have been the strongest if it wasn't for her weak-minded personality. 

That was because Amelia had the Gift of Vibration and a few EFs that used to make Midas drool when he thought because of their use cases. 

The Universe was vibration. This was a well-known fact. Amelia, as someone with a Talent for manipulating something so fundamental to the universe, was well poised to be a god amongst men.

It was a shame though… She had chosen the wrong side back then when Link was doing his thing of splitting the Clan, and then she had died tragically in the hands of Midas, partially due to Link's artefacts.

Midas would obviously never bring her back to life, especially after everything she did. But the main reason he had left her dead was because he wanted to take everything she had, and that meant taking her very useful EFs.
