Chapter 196: Shocking! Spider-Man Pulls a Train Barehanded

Upon seeing this, Tony Stark couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, I didn't expect Doctor Octopus to use this move too. Although it's Peter who got thrown this time, I can't help but say, this move is just so classic."

"Yes, it's incredibly classic," Stephen Strange added, his gaze shifting involuntarily between Loki and Thor.

"Why are you looking at me? Just watch him," Thor replied, clearly disgruntled.

"Don't look at me," Loki chimed in, "watch Thor."

"You're the younger brother, so watch him."

"I'm adopted."

After a few rounds of beating on the train's rooftop, Otto Octavius probably found it not satisfying enough. He lifted Peter Parker high with his mechanical arms and flung his body against the side of the train.

However, after only two tosses, Peter Parker caught hold of the train car with his foot, halting the "Hulk's Throwing" maneuver.

Otto Octavius chose to grip Peter Parker's throat with his mechanical arms, attempting to push his body onto the tracks below.

Despite being in an awkward position for exerting force, Peter Parker's strength held up remarkably well, preventing Otto Octavius from pushing him off.

But at this moment, another train approached, running parallel to the one Peter Parker was on, heading in the opposite direction.

Seeing the oncoming train, Otto Octavius quickly retracted his mechanical arms. However, Peter Parker didn't manage to evade in time and was directly hit by the passing train.

Just when everyone thought Peter Parker would be seriously injured or even killed, his body reappeared in the city, swinging back toward the scene using his webs.

Not only was he unharmed, but he looked completely undamaged.

Witnessing Peter Parker's aerial acrobatics across the city, Otto Octavius became even more infuriated. While on top of the train, he extended his mechanical arms into the train car, grabbing a man and a woman, and then hurled them toward Peter Parker in mid-air.

Peter Parker caught both of them with one hand each and casually tossed them aside.

However, unlike Otto Octavius, Peter Parker simultaneously spun a web in mid-air while tossing the two people. They landed on the web, escaping with nothing more than a fright and not a single hair out of place.

Seeing this scene made Otto Octavius even more furious. He turned around, and his mechanical arms banged on the train's roof as he advanced. Replacing his legs, the arms propelled him swiftly to the front of the train. With a punch, he shattered the glass and knocked the driver down.

He then glanced at Peter Parker, who was quickly approaching, and grinned. His mechanical arms reached into the train, cranked up the speed to the maximum, and then ripped off the gear shift lever.

"You have to stop this train," Otto Octavius tossed the gear shift lever to Peter Parker. He himself jumped onto a building beside the elevated bridge, "standing" in mid-air while gripping the wall with his mechanical arms.

"Help! Save us!" cries for help came from inside the train. Peter Parker crawled onto the front of the train, removing his mask and surveying the situation. With his super vision, he noticed the elevated bridge was just a short distance away.

If he couldn't stop the train in time, it would crash onto the road below when it reached the end of the elevated bridge!

"Hold on tight, everyone!" Peter Parker stood at the front of the train, turning to address the people inside. He then leaped onto the tracks, pushing the train with his legs and supporting it with his back!

He had turned himself into a brake!

Under his legs, the wooden pieces between the tracks were lifted one by one. However, the train showed no intention of stopping.

Realizing this approach wouldn't work, Peter Parker retracted his legs and jumped back onto the train's front.

"Do you have another plan?" an elderly man inside the train asked.

"I have plenty," Peter Parker replied confidently. He glanced at the residential buildings on both sides of the elevated bridge and got an idea.

He extended his right hand, shooting a strand of web that stuck to a building on the right. Then he extended his left hand, shooting another strand of web that stuck to a building on the left.

In this manner, he used his webs to grip the buildings on both sides, then pulled on the webs with both hands, using his own body to slow down the train!

As the long train, still carrying many passengers, hurtled along at high speed, the buildings caught by the webs were torn apart one by one. Peter Parker also let out a pained cry.

However, Peter Parker's body endured the enormous momentum and the extraordinary tearing force!

"Is this for real? Your body is quite something!" Seeing this, everyone was amazed. Clint Barton couldn't help but speak to the Toby version of Peter Parker.

"It's truly astonishing," Steve Rogers, the super soldier, was also impressed by the Toby version of Peter Parker's body. Compared to him, when he jumped off a building, he used his shield as a cushion, which seemed incredibly low now.

"Will I become this powerful in the future?" Seeing Toby's Spider-Man in action, Holland's version of Peter Parker couldn't help but get excited.

"You will, I promise," Toby's Peter Parker reassured Holland's version.

The train in the video eventually came to a stop.

At this moment, the front of the train had already passed beyond the elevated bridge, with half of it suspended in mid-air.

If Peter Parker had been any later, the train might have completely charged off the elevated bridge.

The train was filled with people, and the road below was bustling with traffic. There could have been numerous casualties if the train had gone over the edge.

This time, Peter Parker had saved many lives.

As the train came to a halt and everyone was safe, Peter Parker lost all his strength and collapsed forward.

But just at that moment, four or five hands reached out from the train, firmly holding Peter Parker's body and keeping him upright.

Then, with combined effort, they lifted the unconscious Peter Parker into the train and placed him on the floor.

"Is he alive?"

"He's just a kid."

"About the same age as my son."

Everyone gathered around Peter Parker, observing the young man lying on the ground. They looked at their savior.

Peter Parker slowly regained consciousness. Opening his eyes and seeing so many people staring at him, he instinctively reached for his mask. However, his face was bare – he wasn't wearing it.

"We found this." Several children approached, offering a red mask.

"We won't say goodbye to anyone," one of the children said.

Peter Parker looked deeply at the crowd, slowly put the mask back on, and with their support, stood up.

Crash!

At that moment, the sound of shattering glass echoed as Otto Octavius swung his four to five menacing mechanical arms into the train.

"He's mine!" Otto Octavius easily crushed two train doors using his mechanical arms.

Otto Octavius's appearance caused panic, and screams rang out in succession.

"You have to get past me first."

"And me."

"Me too."

These people were undoubtedly terrified of Otto Octavius, yet they stood up and gathered in front of Peter Parker, using their modest strength to try to stop Otto Octavius.

Spider-Man had fought tooth and nail to protect them; now it was their turn to protect him.

"Alright." Otto Octavius chuckled. His two mechanical arms slithered forward, diving into the crowd. Then, he spread them apart, forcing everyone in the center to move to the sides.

Indeed, these super villains were not something ordinary people could handle – they were incredibly powerful.

With no one left in front of him, Peter Parker limped toward Otto Octavius. Otto's mechanical arms extended, and with a clang, they struck Peter Parker. He fell backward.

However, Otto Octavius didn't kill Peter Parker. Instead, he brought him to Harry Osborn's home and laid him on a dilapidated bed.

"The tritium? Where is it?" Otto Octavius asked Harry Osborn. Harry didn't dare hesitate and immediately handed over the tritium to Otto Octavius.

Otto Octavius didn't do anything more. After taking the tritium, he left through the window.

Looking at Peter Parker lying on the bed, bound with wires, Harry Osborn picked up an exquisitely crafted dagger from the table.

"I want you to suffer as much as I do," Harry Osborn walked step by step toward Peter Parker, drawing the dagger.

But just as he was about to stab, curiosity struck him. He wanted to see who Spider-Man really was, so he removed Peter Parker's mask.

Clang!

As Peter Parker's face appeared before Harry Osborn, the dagger slipped from his hand and fell to the ground.

"Peter?" Harry Osborn was so overwhelmed with emotion that he couldn't stand steady. He sat down, "No! It can't be!"

"Harry, where is she? Where did he hide her?" Peter Parker stood up, reached out and broke the wires around him, "He took Mary Jane."

"No, he only wanted the tritium," Harry Osborn didn't know that his close friend had been abducted.

"Tritium?" Peter Parker immediately understood Otto Octavius's goal, "He's planning to create a fusion reactor again. New York City will be destroyed. Where is he?"

"Peter, you killed my father." Harry Osborn looked at Peter Parker, tears glistening in his eyes.

"There are things more important than personal grudges in this world. I must stop him," Peter Parker said, looking at Harry Osborn.

At that moment, Otto Octavius was in a building by the riverside, attempting to continue his experiment.

"Hey!" Mary Jane, who was bound, shouted at Otto Octavius, "You've got what you wanted. Let me go!"

"No, you'll call the police," Otto Octavius's mind was strangely clear, "Spider-Man is dead. He can't stop me."

"He's not dead. I don't believe you," Mary Jane didn't lose confidence in Peter Parker just because of Otto Octavius's words.

"You better believe it," Otto Octavius said as he continued his experiment.

With several beams of light shining, a golden "little sun" once again formed, and as Otto Octavius manipulated it, the small sun grew larger and larger.

In a matter of moments, it went from the size of a fist to the size of a basin.

Seizing the opportunity, Peter Parker climbed above Mary Jane and said, "Surprise?"

Of course, it was a surprise. Nothing could be more surprising than seeing Spider-Man at this moment. A smile appeared on Mary Jane's face, but she refrained from speaking, afraid of alarming Otto Octavius, who was nearby.

"As soon as you're untied—" Peter Parker started to say to Mary Jane, but before he could finish, a mechanical arm suddenly shot out, narrowly missing his head.

"I should've known little Harry didn't have the guts to kill you." Otto Octavius turned around and used his mechanical arms to walk on the ground, step by step approaching Peter Parker.

"Turn it off quickly, or you'll end up causing a lot of deaths," Peter Parker said.

"I'm willing to take that risk," Otto Octavius's mechanical arms opened wide, poised to attack at any moment.

"But I'm not," Peter Parker leaped toward the device generating the small sun. He was caught mid-air by Otto Octavius's mechanical arm and was thrown off the rooftop, soaring into the night sky.

Swoosh!

Peter Parker shot out a web, catching the rooftop and swinging himself back into the room. He kicked Otto Octavius, sending him crashing through the floor and into the water.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Peter Parker fell into the water as well. He grabbed Otto Octavius's collar and repeatedly punched his face.

Meanwhile, the "little sun" on the ground had become increasingly violent. The golden energy ring flashed, pulling nearby metallic objects toward it.

Unfortunately, Mary Jane was tied with iron chains. The chains were pulled towards the small sun, dragging her body with them.

Fortunately, the other end of the iron chain was tied to a pillar, preventing Mary Jane from being pulled in completely. However, the pillar was already tilting and seemed unable to hold for much longer.

"Hold on tight!" Seeing this, Peter Parker punched Otto Octavius away.

At the same moment, Mary Jane was about to be pulled into the small sun. Suddenly, a strand of web shot out, catching the rope around her. Her momentum halted abruptly.

However, the iron chain on her foot had already been consumed by the small sun!

She was only a hair's breadth away from being swallowed!

Spider-Man's rescue this time was incredibly close, teetering on the edge of danger.

Peter Parker pulled the web with all his might, successfully pulling Mary Jane back.

"Run!" Peter Parker placed Mary Jane on the ground and said to her.

Boom!

Just as he finished speaking, a massive wooden pole descended from the sky, hammering Peter Parker into the ground.

Otto Octavius strode forward, his mechanical arms grabbing hold of Peter Parker and flinging him away.

Crash!

Peter Parker's body slammed into a large piece of metal, then fell to the ground.

Otto Octavius extended another mechanical arm, grabbed one of Peter Parker's legs, and lifted him up.

Seeing that Peter Parker was in dire straits, Mary Jane quietly approached Otto Octavius from behind, holding a wooden stick. She aimed it at his head, intending to strike, but before she could swing, a mechanical arm swiftly swatted her away.

So brave, Peter Parker's girls were indeed good girls.

"This time, I'd like to see how you'll escape," Otto Octavius said, gripping Peter Parker with one mechanical arm, lifting him into the air. Another mechanical arm extended a long iron spike and thrust it toward Peter Parker.

Hanging upside down, Peter Parker extended his hands, shooting two strands of web that caught several thick cables on the ground. Otto Octavius's iron spike pierced into the cables.

Instantly, a massive electric current flowed through Otto Octavius's body via the mechanical arm, causing him to convulse.

Meanwhile, Peter Parker took advantage of the distraction to pull out several thick cables connected to the device. However, it was already too late. The small sun had expanded to the size of a car and was continuously drawing metallic objects into it.

"Now what?" Peter Parker was unsure of what to do.

The power of the small sun was overwhelming. It was devouring the building and even cars on the street outside couldn't resist its pull, sliding toward the small sun.

"Dr. Octavius, we must shut it down," Peter Parker approached Otto Octavius, removed his mask, and earnestly said, "Tell me how to turn it off."

"Peter Parker?" Otto Octavius looked at the face before him and surprisingly smiled, "Clever little slug."

"Look at what's happening now," Peter Parker said, "We have to destroy it."

"I can't destroy it," Otto Octavius glanced at the small sun that was continuously devouring its surroundings and shook his head.

At this moment, a mechanical arm submerged in the water lifted up, grabbing Peter Parker's neck. Otto Octavius's expression suddenly changed. He went from looking like an old friend to something monstrous, his face twisted, "I did it on purpose!"

"You once told me about the importance of intelligence and wisdom," Peter Parker didn't struggle and allowed the mechanical arm to tighten around his neck, "You said they must be used for the betterment of humanity."

"It's an honor," Otto Octavius nodded.

"These mechanical arms have turned you into a monster. Don't listen to them," Peter Parker said.

"This is my dream," Otto Octavius looked at the mechanical arms beside him and said.

"Sometimes, for the sake of justice, we have to sacrifice our personal desires, even our most cherished dreams," Peter Parker said, "Even our dreams."

"You're right," Otto Octavius thought for a moment and agreed.

Hearing this, the mechanical arms became agitated. They surrounded Otto Octavius, emitting a series of incomprehensible chirps and chatters.

But Otto Octavius clearly understood. It was as if he was having a conversation with humans. He spoke to the mechanical arms, "He's right."

The mechanical arms responded more favorably, continuing to chirp and chatter incessantly. Meanwhile, they began to brandish and move their claws.

"Listen to me, listen to me!" Otto Octavius roared, and the mechanical arms immediately became obedient, all of them lying flat on the ground. The mechanical arm that had been choking Peter Parker's neck also released its grip.

"Now tell me how to destroy it," Peter Parker asked again.

"It's no longer possible to stop it. It's indestructible now," Otto Octavius said, "Unless... it's extinguished with river water."

Upon hearing this, Peter Parker turned around to leave, but a mechanical arm grabbed hold of him. Just when Peter Parker thought Otto Octavius was going to stop him, Otto Octavius said, "Let me handle this."

One by one, the mechanical arms spread open and took large strides, advancing toward the small sun.

Standing before the somewhat dazzling small sun, Otto Octavius turned around. He cast a final glance at Peter Parker, never looking back, and charged forward without hesitation.

At this moment, Peter Parker finally breathed a sigh of relief. He turned his head and looked at Mary Jane, who was also gazing back at him.

In the midst of this heartwarming moment, the wall behind Mary Jane, which had been absorbed by the small sun, collapsed entirely and came crashing down toward her.

"No!!" Peter Parker let out a loud roar, rushing over in a blur and using his own body to shield Mary Jane from the falling debris.

"It's really heavy," he said, looking down at Mary Jane on the ground, "MJ, in case we don't make it..."

"You do love me," Mary Jane looked up at Peter Parker, who was holding up the wall.

"Yes," Peter Parker admitted.

"Even though you never say it," Mary Jane chuckled.

Meanwhile, in the midst of this perilous situation, Otto Octavius had already reached the base of the small sun's device. He forcefully tore it apart with his mechanical arms.

"I won't die as a monster," Otto Octavius exerted one final effort, and the entire device immediately sank into the river.

Along with the small sun.

Along with himself.

Peter Parker, having discarded the wall on his back, held Mary Jane close and swung away using his webbing, just before the area was completely engulfed by the river.

The screen darkened, and the video came to an end.
