While I was pondering whether I should just buy Riddick's animal magnetism just to have a better relationship with Laura I was poked in the back. Raven apparently decided to remind of her presence while Sarah and Laura got acquainted with my newest hires to Black Technology. Mechanika decided to follow them since I announced that they will be working with the company and as Miranda Lawson's secretary/bodyguard she will need their personal information and get in contact with her direct supervisor before enrollment. This was something Miranda insisted on as she didn't like how I hired people with a wave of my hand.

Returning my attention back to Raven I led her to the solarium to sit down talk. It seemed like she had a lot of questions and as of now I have a lot of time. I didn't expect everything to remain the same indefinitely as Emma Frost would definitely return to her school and would be taking her daughters with her. Sarah Kinney seemed to enjoy her new life but I was under no illusion that if her daughter wanted to move she would.

"So I imagine you have a lot of questions for me"

Raven: I want to know what specifically was that star you made was

"Why? I don't believe it was harmful in any particular way so why are you focused specifically on this?"

Raven: It's personal

"As is what you are asking which is why I want to know. If you are unwilling to share then I won't either as it something fundamentally connected to me. I can't make you do something your uncomfortable with but the same is also true for me"

Raven: I guess it is fair and since you already know what I am I suppose I can confide why I need that star's power. It's because after the exposure to the energy, it suppressed my father's connection with me.

Wasn't that quite the revelation, turns out this power is more useful than I previously anticipated. I was definitely going to use this opportunity to try and sway her to join my harem. Short of that though I was at least willing to recruit her or bare minimum earn more of her favor. Of course I wasn't willing to let this fish go but I was willing to give her some slack as not to break the line, eventually she will be mine.

"Since you have been so forthcoming I will be honest as well that star was made from the light of creation. I got it after I was murdered it is literally part of me in the truest sense possible."

Raven: I'm sorry I didn't know...

"It's fine as you said you didn't know which is somewhat shocking to be honest"

Raven: Why is that?

"Because as I said before I got this power after I returned from death and the Justice League were already there so..."

Raven: So why didn't they mention that after you had already revealed what happened?

"Exactly, I am well aware that they already know about this as Dr Fate confirmed it in front of everyone present including Nightwing. Which is why I was suspicious when you asked what power I used as he was supposed to be a member of the titans or am I mistaken?"

Raven: You're saying I should already know about this?

"Why else would I give such leading answers and questions to you? I asked you about something personal but instead of backing down and going to the Justice League you chose to reveal the reason. Nightwing was with batman and was there when your answer was revealed long ago yet you didn't know. Admittedly it could have easily slipped his mind considering the fallout but what about the days that followed and earlier today when I used aforementioned power?"

I could practically see the gears turning in her mind as she hadn't rebutted anything I said just yet. Doubts were forming inside her mind as she began to contemplate everything I pointed out to her. I even poked a hole in my own argument for full disclosure but went back to emphasizing other issues. Nothing I said was incorrect just heavily biased in my favor.
