Chapter 1422: Changes in the Cloud Sect

Seeing Justin Vasquez return, Ethan Smith hurried over.

"Mr. Vasquez, how did it go?" Ethan Smith asked with some anticipation.

A hint of seriousness surfaced on Justin Vasquez's face.

He led Ethan Smith to sit down and then spoke in a grave tone, "There is some bad news."

"Bad news?" Ethan Smith's brows furrowed slightly.

Justin Vasquez nodded and said, "In recent days, a change has occurred in the Cloud Sect. The sect master suddenly declared he would retreat for cultivation. For now, the sect is temporarily under the governance of the First Elder."

Upon hearing this, Ethan Smith's face immediately turned somewhat unsightly.

In all of the Cloud Sect, the one who despised Ethan Smith the most was probably the First Elder who now received control.

If he were to take over the sect, he would certainly spare no effort in hunting Ethan Smith down, possibly without regard for the consequences!

"Why so sudden..." Ethan Smith murmured softly, his brows furrowed tight.
