"I'm so excited!", Desiree squealed.
"So am I", Matt admitted, nodding along.
"I can't wait for the party!", Desiree exclaimed in excitement.
"Neither can I", Matt muttered, evidently not as excited as Desiree.
"Oh, come on", Desiree complained, half-heartedly allowing him, "Don't be so dull. This is big news we're going to reveal".
"I know", Matt nodded, "But I just don't know how Zephyr's going to react to it".
"It's going to be fine", Desiree soothed.
"It won't!", Matt raised his voice in frustration, "I'm worried he's going to get angry".
"He won't", Desiree claimed, "He's basically an adult. He's mature, smart, empathetic, sympathetic and welcoming".
"Are we sure we're talking about the same Zephyr here?", Matt questioned.
"Stop it you", Desiree smacked him on the back of the head, "Just calm down. Everything's going to be alright".
Matt took deep breaths as he slowly calmed down. "Thanks", Matt muttered, "I don't know what I'd do without you".
"You'd have to cook your own food, drive Zephyr everywhere, you'd sleep by yourself, you'd have no social life. Need I go on?", Desiree teased.
Matt rolled his eyes, "Okay. Fine. I admit that things would be less lively without you around".
Desiree teasing patted him on the shoulder as she stood up, "I love it when I'm right. And guess what? I always am".
For once, Matt opted not to say something and just smiled as he watched her leave the room. After she left, Matt took a deep breath and stood up. Making his way over to the mantle, he stopped and looked at the frame set on it. Picking up the frame, Matt gently wiped the frame, removing any imaginary dust that was there and muttered under his breath, "I hope you can forgive me for moving on". Finished, Matt placed the frame back on the mantle and walked out of the room.
[With Zephyr]
"What'd you get?", Alex asked as soon as she saw Zephyr enter and sit down beside her on the bed.
"A+", Zephyr answered, "And you?".
"I got an A-", Alex muttered, "How do you even get an A+ in Philosophy? I swear that no one's ever gotten an A+ in school history and they've had the same teacher for at least 20 years".
"It was a pretty nice record to break", Zephyr admitted.
"Stop acting humble", Alex complained, "What'd you do your essay on?".
"Mistakes", Zephyr remarked, "What about you? What was yours on?".
"Resilience", Alex groaned, falling back on her bed as she said so.
"The problem you made there was that you did something that a lot of people have done so the teacher gets bored of what you've said", Zephyr explained, "If you choose something new or uncommon, your chances of getting an A+ are higher".
"How do you even know this?", Alex inquired.
"I've noticed that Mr. Rush doesn't react to answers that have been said before. He likes new ideas, new perspectives if you will", Zephyr clarified, "It's what makes him different from the other teachers. No matter how good or eloquent your essay is, if it doesn't intrigue Mr. Rush, you'll never get an A+. The best you'll get is an A-. Why do you think Michael got an A? He had a new idea but didn't explain it articulately".
"I hate that Michael got better than me", Alex muttered.
"It's just a one-time thing", Zephyr comforted, "Besides. Philosophy is the only subject Michael does well in because of his ... out-of-the-box thinking".
For the next few moments, Alex and Zephyr remained silent with Zephyr staring intently at Alex, more specifically, her chest. Feeling his gaze, Alex turned to look at him and asked, "What?"
"Is it just me or have you grown again?", Zephyr asked, his tone interested.
"Argh!", Alex screamed as she tried to cover her chest with her arms, "How the hell did you notice?".
"There's no need to hide them. I've seen them already", Zephyr remarked, "And to answer your question, I've got really good eyesight". Then, Zephyr looked away for a second, and added, "And they moved a bit more than usual with every breath you took".
"Urgh. You pervert!", Alex jokingly exclaimed, grabbing her pillow and trying to hit him with it.
Not even hesitating, Zephyr smacked it away, wrapped an arm around Alex's waist and pulled her onto his lap. Without giving her a chance to resist, Zephyr captured her lips into a hot kiss. Although Alex attempted to resist, she was incapable of lasting longer than a second from Zephyr's intense assault. As they explored each other's mouths with their tongue, Zephyr's hand slowly trailed from her stomach to her boobs. Before she could comprehend where his hands were, Zephyr gave a quick squeeze, causing a moan to escape Alex's kiss. As they separated, their foreheads were touching and they were connected by a small string of saliva.
Alex sent Zephyr an accusatory glare, but Zephyr innocently raised an eyebrow. Rolling her eyes, Alex grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in for another kiss, this one equally as steam as the previous one.

"I'm curious", Zephyr stated as he looked at the terrified forms of Manny and Luke, "Where did you plan to go with this?".
"We were planning to blackmail you into giving us advice on how to pick up girls!", Luke announced, only to realise that he had shouted. Looking around, he let out a sigh of relief when he noticed that no one had heard.
"I wasn't in on this", Manny tried to argue but was shut down by the seething glare he received from Alex and Zephyr. Looking down, he muttered, "Fine. I was in on this too. But it was Luke's idea!".
"No it wasn't!", Luke argued.
"Yes it was!", Manny yelled back.
"Enough!", Alex roared, shutting them both up.
"Woah", Zephyr murmured, fanning his face.
"I don't know what you were expecting but your plan was never going to work out", Alex stated, gritting her teeth as she did so.
"It wasn't?", Luke questioned.
"Of course not", Zephyr remarked, constantly glancing at Alex, "I've got nothing to hide on my phone, and the more personal stuff in there, I don't think your parents would want to see it".
"Damn it", Luke cursed.
"It took us like a whole hour to steal your phone", Manny muttered in disappointment.
"We could've just stolen it while they were making out", Luke complained.
"But do you want to be the one to see that?", Manny scoffed.
"Enough! Stop arguing! I'm going to give you until the count of 5 to leave the room!", Alex declared.
"But this is my room!", Luke tried to argue.
"5", Alex began counting down, "4", Manny and Luke stumbled getting up, "3", Manny and Luke bolted out of the room once they regained their footing. "2", Alex muttered as she watched their forms disappear. Once they were gone, Alex turned to look at Zephyr with a stern gaze and asked, "What's wrong with you?".
"Nothing", Zephyr muttered, "It's just that you looked really hot while you were angry. You're going to be a great mom".
"Y-you really think so?", Alex asked, flustered by his statement.
"I know you will", Zephyr announced, "Now, how about we go back to your room and make out while pretending we're going homework?".
"Seriously?", Alex rolled her eyes.
"What?!", Zephyr exclaimed, "Seeing you like that got me fired up".
"Fine", Alex gave in, "But we have to make it quick. You have to go to your house for dinner and get ready".

"Hey, Dad!", Matt greeted as he hugged his father.
"It's great to see you again son", Joe replied as he separated from the hug.
"Hi Joe", Desiree welcomed when she saw Joe, giving him a quick hug.
"Hello honey", Joe returned, "How's your little one? Bella was it?".
"She's doing really well", Desiree answered, "Why don't you sit down? Zephyr prepared some snacks. He's gone to get ready".
"That's good", Joe muttered as he sat down on a couch and looked at the selection of delicacies before him. Taking a bite out of a brownie, Joe hummed, "Still as good as ever it seems".
"Yep", Matt nodded as he sat down beside Joe, "His cooking's still amazing".
"How's the little bugger anyway?", Joe questioned as he took another bite of his brownie.
"He's the best in his year academically and he's part of the soccer team. He was going to try out for the swimming team as well but he decided against it at the last second", Matt narrated.
Joe stroked his beard and muttered, "Any girlfriend yet? I want to see my great-grandchildren before I go you know".
"He's been dating this girl, Alex, for nearly two years now", Matt informed, "In fact, she was there for my birthday party".
"What?!", Joe exclaimed, smacking Matt on the back of his head, "Why didn't you tell me?!".
"Ow!", Matt complained as he rubbed the back of his head, "No need to be so violent you know. It's not the 60s. The Soviets won't invade".
"Hmph", Joe snorted, "Just because you've become lax doesn't mean I have".
Matt rolled his eyes, "If you're that desperate to see your granddaughter-in-law, she's coming to the party with her whole family".
Joe narrowed his eyes, "What's the big reveal?".
"W-what makes you think we're going to reveal something?", Matt stuttered.
"You're the worst liar ever", Desiree sighed as she rubbed her forehead in frustration.
"She's right", Joe agreed, "You've always been a terrible liar kid, you'd get caught the second you tried". Before Matt could even respond, Joe raised his hand to stop him, "Don't try to argue. Just tell me what the big surprise is".
Desiree gave Matt a look of resignation before taking a deep breath, "We're getting married!".
"Finally!", Joe exclaimed, looking at Desiree's hand and the beautifully crafted ring on her ring finger, "I thought you'd never have the balls to ask her".
"What?", Matt muttered in confusion.
"Yeah", Joe muttered, "I honestly assumed that Desiree would get tired of you and decide to go for someone more brave".
"I was very close to considering that", Desiree quipped.
"Hey!", Matt exclaimed.
"Anyways", Joe ignored Matt and turned to look at Desiree, "Congratulations, girl, you're part of the family now".
