After what could only be described as a real-life commercial break, Emil managed to calm down after eating some food and taking a quick shower.
Once done, he sat at his computer again to reply to his guild's answers about knowing multiple languages.
At first, he wasn't aware of it happening, but then he thought back to one of the model's skills, and then everything made sense. Oddly enough, he's only able to know the languages when he's connected to the model. Otherwise, he's only slightly fluent in English...and that's his only language.
When his guild confronted him about it, he could only do one thing...and that was to lie.
Of course, he had to lie about it!
There was no way he was going to say he has a system and that he's technically a cultivator. He'd have an easier time telling them the world was flat, which isn't even true. So, imagine if he told the truth, they'd likely call 911 on him.
And even if by some miracle they believe him, he still wouldn't tell them because of the number one rule of having a system...
Never tell anyone!
So with that being said, he spun the lie of learning different languages over the years as a form of hobby. Thankfully everyone accepted it and moved on.
∆Loveless∆ - So, do you think you could record a lore video? I'll edit it for you for free.
∆StarEmperor∆ - A lore video? I don't mind doing that this weekend.
∆Loveless∆ - [Yes.Jpg]
∆Loveless∆ - This is going to be so much fun. I needed something to do while I was in between projects. My schedule is practically empty.
∆StarEmperor∆ - Only you would be happy about doing editing.
∆Loveless∆ - And don't you forget it! [EpicThumbsUp.Jpg]
∆CrazyZeus∆ - Boss! Do you think you could teach me how to speak Spanish?
∆EzoBladeK∆- Why Spanish?
∆CrazyZeus∆ - What's so wrong with learning about Spanish? It's a beautiful language!
∆HaruHaru∆ - I bet he just wants to learn all the curse words.
∆CrazyZeus∆ - WHAT!? I am shocked and appalled that you would ever think I would want to learn the language just to call people names.
∆HaruHaru∆ - I didn't say that. I said curse words.
∆GuardianDog∆ - Congratulations. You played yourself.
∆EzoBladeK∆ - EXPOSE HIM!!
∆CrazyZeus∆ - HEY, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE.
∆EzoBladeK∆ - expose her?
∆CrazyZeus∆ - Nevermind...

After talking to his guild for a little while, Emil believed it was time to take a look at his rewards. With a single thought, he found and pulled out the item that was stored away in his storage ring.
A box,
It was black with gold trimming around the edges, which strongly reminded him of Mona's black and gold dress.
Coincidence? Not likely.
The box was small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, and it was heavy, almost like he was holding a 10-pound weight. Emil could probably break a window with it if he threw one at it.
There was a total of 10 of the boxes located in his storage ring.
"So...how do I open it?" He asked the woman who was currently lying in his bed like a lazy cat. Sometimes he wondered if she was just here to take advantage of him.
Other than giving some hints, she just spends her time being lazy or teasing him.
And what was he going to do? Go tell the police?
He was stuck with her whether he liked it or not.
"Just use your qi," Mona answered, shooing him away with her hand.
'This woman!... She probably lied about having a time limit for her physical form and just lied to see my reaction!... Ugh, whatever.'
"Ok..." Emil took a deep breath and started to circulate his minuscule amount of qi. He's been told that his qi control would be abysmal without the golden ring. However, he didn't mind one bit as he was still a normal human up until several days ago.
Perhaps he'll change later on.
As he circulated his qi, he could feel a surge of warmth spread throughout his body. In the beginning, he could only describe it as being submerged in a hot spring.
Now, though, he could feel a warm current spreading through his veins like a gentle river, moving whichever way he wanted with just a thought.
His control was getting better.
*HUM!!*
Soon a humming noise could be heard coming from the strange box, and almost immediately, it began to unravel itself like an intricate origami, revealing what looked to be a ball of white light. It was quite a magical scene, but it was all ruined in a matter of seconds.
"What a bummer. Your first pull was a normal grade." Mona said, clicking her tongue in annoyance.

"Why did it have to be loot boxes?" Emil frowned. He always said loot boxes were pure evil, but that didn't stop games from using them. The tears he shed from getting multiple copies of the same useless items were unimaginable.
And so he opened two more.

That's right...he had forgotten that RNG likes to crush people's dreams.
"...."
"Hahahaha!" Mona seemed to find it funny and laughed while clutching her stomach.
Never in his life did he want to hit a woman, but at this moment, he wanted to make an exception.
However, he pushed that feeling away as he still had seven left to open.
Emil gritted his teeth, "It's not over yet! I'm not finished!" He shouted, pulling another box from his storage ring.
"Stop being dramatic. You're not a shounen protagonist." She quipped.
"Shut up! Don't throw off my groove."
*HUM*
Instead of a white ball of light, the color of the ball was blue this time.

The item wasn't useless, but it might as well be, as Emil couldn't think of an instance that he would use it.
"Wait..." He immediately pulled out the paper charm from his storage ring and, without hesitation, walked over to Mona.
"Hm?—"
*Tap*
He placed the charm on her forehead.

"I AM NOT A EVIL SPIRIT!" Mona shouted, ripping the charm into pieces.
"Could have fooled me." Emil shrugged.

Everything.
Amora has tried everything.
Runes, spells, enchantments, the whole nine yards, yet she was nowhere closer to accomplishing her goal.
"Am I missing something? Do I still not know enough?"
It wasn't a secret that she was banished from the Norn Kingdom by Karnilla because of her behavior. However, she had already tasted the power of magic, and she'd do anything to have more of it.
Luckily, she was blessed with many things, like her otherwordly beauty and her affinity with enchantments.
One particular enchantment enhanced her natural beauty and allure so much that she could enthrall a man, turning them into a slave to her will.
It's one of the reasons why she could still live so lavishly in several of the Nine Realms.
Currently, she is in one of her mansions in Asgard, where she is close to Thor; however, now she could care less about that fact. She had someone else to obsess over, and that feeling only grew as time passed.
What was it about this person that made her so desperate?
Although the Asgardian sorceress was nowhere near him, she could feel something radiate from his person. It was in every word he spoke and every laugh he had. It was like listening to a perfect symphony she couldn't help but want to be a part of...
"This...stream...next time I'll talk to him. I'll offer everything that I have...gold...diamonds. And then..."
"And then he will be MINE!"

"It's so strange...how come I can't find the game he was playing?" A certain red-haired woman said out loud after searching the internet. She wasn't particularly interested in games, but she was curious due to another reason.
"Maybe it's something that hasn't been released? But still, one would think that there was at least something about it somewhere. "I'll have to ask during his next stream."
(A/N: If someone happens to guess who it is. I'll do another two chapters on Monday. I left it ambiguous for a reason. NO HINTS! )

"Holy...," Emil was shocked at what he received last from the lottery boxes. If it were his past self, he wouldn't have believed what he was seeing, but people do change no matter how much time has passed.
"Honestly, I'm really surprised you were able to pull something like that," Mona said, equally shocked.
After their short shouting match, Emil continued to open the rest of the lottery boxes.
And the result was...

Emil was glad that these items automatically went into his storage ring. Otherwise, he may have started the plot of a certain end-of-the-world movie.
"Although...I am curious about how it looks." if it wasn't obvious by his gamer name, Emil had a fascination with space. It wasn't anything too crazy, but the idea of traveling amongst the stars always appealed to him.
However, before he could daydream, there was something else he needed to take care of..
Emil glanced at Mona, "You know...you told me that doing the quest and opening these boxes were going to solve my money problem. I don't see a—"
