The group arrived at the second world and just like the soldiers, they took a few minutes to admire the beauty of the scenery and to breathe the pristine breeze that struck their faces. Being in an open space with bright light also eased the claustrophobic sense they had been experiencing before. The cloudy fog at ground level was beautiful but it was nothing compared to the cliffs and ridges that made it seem as though they were sky islands that extended as far as the eye could see.
But that limitation didn't Apply to Sam who wasn't called the Lightbringer for nothing.
"There's people over there. No, wait, they're soldiers accompanied by cryptids! We need to hurry!"
"Are they in trouble?" Janett asked.
"No, but we need to hurry!" Sam shook his head and proceeded to walk with a wide smile without ever taking his eyes from the far distance.
"He's acting weird." Nika pointed towards Sam with her chin.
