Was Gabrielle the culprit?

"Elliana, are you okay?" Dexter asked as soon as came out of his shocked state, and he noticed her half-burnt dress. 

This was bad.

His gaze immediately shifted to her face, and seeing her looking at him with sadness in her eyes, Dexter pressed his lips into a thin line before he held her hand and pulled her in for a hug.

"I am sorry that it happened to you," Dexter said, and Elliana's eyes brimmed with tears.

At the same time, Lucas, who was sent away by the prince to check up on the princess and ensure that she doesn't end up drinking and getting intoxicated again, looked at the scene in horror.

"Princess!" He shouted as he rushed to the railing and quickly jumped down to the area where Elliana and Dexter were.

He took off his coat and wrapped it around Elliana's legs protectively.

"How did this all happen? Who dared to touch as much as your shadow, let alone your dress?" Lucas asked, and Elliana smiled sadly.
