Instinct Awakening Part I

“Angie!!” A shout came at the same time as Angela was blown up against a tree so harshly that the blood was coughed out of her mouth.

GROWL!!!

The monster let out a resounding growl. Its two-meter figure was sprinting toward Wisana’s party at full speed, leaving them no time to get ready. The half-human beast's appearance frightened everyone to stop and stare at it with their panicked eyes. No one could see clearly what it actually was. But one thing to be sure of was that... it was the biggest threat that made Wisana fully alert!

“What the hell is that?!” Wisana bawled loudly.

“It’s the king of Lycan, Na. A boss!” Waree answered right away. Her green eyes looked at her best friend with concern.

“Damn it. Just finished with those, and now starting with this. It never ends.” He complained, sounding so fed up with it. “What do we do now, Nam? Fight, or flee? But Angie’s probably dead though. Shouldn't we run back to wait for her at the safe spot outside the forest?”
