[One week later.]
Alfred sat in the corner of the small solitary confinement when the small window on the metal open slid open. He glanced up, only to see a pair of silver eyes looking through it. Although he could barely see the man's eyes and a bit of the bridge of his nose and brows, he instantly recognized the man.
"Bernard," he called in a low and cold growl. "Did you come here to finish the job?"
"I'm checking if you're still alive, boy," Bear remarked. "I'm surprised you still haven't crushed your skull against the wall. That is the only way you can harm yourself in this solitary space."
