AZI Volume 5 Chapter 60

"Ah."

Despite not knowing who the person who had sent them this message is, the three are quick to react, as Qing Ming Yang says—

"Surnamed Lin, you go. Surnamed Xia and I still have things to deal with in this realm."

Despite everything that has happened, Qing Ming Yang hasn't forgotten about the matter with Yao Ying.

"…Un."

Looking at Qing Ming Yang and Xia Ri'er, Lin Yu Heng—who doesn't know the details, nodded his head before grabbing his medallion.

Taking out a teleportation magic talisman, which is designed specifically to exit the Leng Bing Realm with, Lin Yu Heng activates it, and vanishes from sight.

"Surnamed Xia, let's just leave this place."

"…Un."

Unable to talk due to her facial wounds, Xia Ri'er replies with a nod.

...…

*Boom! Boom! Boom!* as pieces of rubble fall from above, Long Hua and Tian Cheng look to the departing figure of the pale white weapon spirit.

"All things considered, this situation is quite laughable really."

Believing this to be none of his business, Long Hua smiles with amusement, as he uses his divine senses to look around the area for anything of interest.

"Hmm."

Looking towards a specific part of the seas, where the waters are currently boiling, Long Hua sees a piece of wreckage.

Upon peering further into the wreckage—

(*-laoban, that's a fallen star ruby!)

"…Hm?"

Towards the questioning look on Long Hua's face, the Tai Xuan Emperor continues to say—

(It's worth 20 pulls!)

"Oh? Then it's mine."

Redirecting his attention back to the shores, Long Hua raises an eye, as he remarks—

"What kind of insanity took over surnamed Yu's head?"

Seeing Yu Ji attempting to fight her way through numerous Dainsfield associates, Long Hua notices the iron casket, to which—

"Uh?"

Blinking his eyes, Long Hua peers into the crude iron casket.

"…Tch."

Scratching the back of his head, Long Hua clicks his tongue.

Storing the 22 bottles of Spirit Extracts into her storage pouch, Tian Cheng asks—

"What shall we do, master?"

"Ah… Surnamed Yu's matter needs to be dealt with first."

"Un."

Hearing this, Tian Cheng changes her current outfit for the black garbs.

Similarly, Long Hua does the same, while remarking—

"Now then, how do we get out of this place without being noticed?"

(I doubt anyone will notice you popping out of this place when all their attention should be focused on that weapon spirit.)

"Good point."

Looking upwards, Long Hua narrows his eyes. Flight is doable, but he wishes to conserve as much spirit Qi as possible, hence—

"We're jumping up there then."

Saying this, Long Hua borrows the falling debris as stepping stones to leap up to the mountain's lips.

A second later, Tian Cheng follows after him.

...…

Back at the shores—

"Yu Ji, surrender yourself!"

As Duanmu Chen knocks an arrow out of the air, Yu Ji replies—

"Shut your trap, old man! Also, who the hell is this surnamed Yu you're talking about?"

Denying her identity, Yu Ji notches another arrow and fires.

Towards the incoming arrow, Duanmu Chen swings his double-bladed glaives, but upon contact—

*Boom!* the arrow explodes—throwing Duanmu Chen backwards.

"…"

Landing onto the ground, blood drips from the wounds, as Duanmu Chen raises his head, and mutters something beneath his breath.

"…!"

As pieces of armor manifest, and rapidly press themselves onto Duanmu Chen's body, Yu Ji's shoulders turn tense.

Dressed in a silver set of thin body armor, which comes with a full-faced helmet, and a hooded black cloak, Duanmu Chen rises to a stand, while remarking—

"Your courage to go against the entirety of Dainsfield to protect your little sister is impressive."

Directing his glaive towards Yu Ji, Duanmu Chen continues to say—

"However, know your limits."

"…!"

As Duanmu Chen closes the gap between them, and swings his glaive, Yu Ji—assisted by her golden left eye, manages to evade.

"Oh?"

Surprised by the fact that Yu Ji had managed to dodge that, Duanmu Chen straightens his back.

"…"

As sweat rolls down her face due to the near-death experience, Yu Ji mutters—

"Divinity. You got anything for me right now?"

Being asked this, Wen Qing is at a slight loss as to how he should reply.

(…Allowing you to see through my divine senses is already putting strains on your left eye. You could end up going blind in that eye due to prolonged use. Should I pour more of my strength into you, there's a chance that you might experience a breakdown.)

"I don't care."

(…)

Thinking for a few moments, Wen Qing replies—

(…Very well.)

As Yu Ji notches an arrow, the arrow transforms into a sword.

The sword itself measures at three feet in length and possesses a double-edged blade. Carved onto its blade are four characters, which read "Seven Emotions, Six Desires."

Drawing the string back, Yu Ji shouts—

"Surnamed Duanmu, final warning, get the hell out of my way!"

"Hmph."

Raising a cold snort, Duanmu Chen takes a step forward, and the moment he does this—

*Pah!!!* Yu Ji releases her hold over the sword's pommel, allowing it to fly.

"Uh…!"

Following the sword's departure from her hand, Yu Ji immediately feels lightheaded, causing her to take a few steps back in an unsteady manner.

"…"

As the sword closes in, Duanmu Chen evades it with ease, and thinking himself to be safe, he continues to charge forth; however—

*Boom!!!!!*

"Huh…?!"

Just as the sword had flown pass him, it detonated into a massive storm of golden sword Qi, which stabs into his back!

"Aaaaahh!"

Following Duanmu Chen's miserable shriek, Yu Ji's arms dangle in a powerless manner, as sweat drenches her clothes.

*Thud!* falling onto his knees, Duanmu Chen trembles, as he uses his glaive to support himself.

"Kuh…! Hack!"

Struggling to stand back up, Duanmu Chen spews out a mouthful of blood. The storm of golden sword Qi had knocked him out of his Weapon Spirit True Body state much to his astonishment. However—

"…"

"…"

"…Dammit."

Approached, and surrounded on all fronts by Dainsfield associates—who all had their Relics out, Yu Ji's expression darkens, as she gasps for air.
