Jack's breaths came in ragged gasps, his body shaking from the effort. As he reached the white sea, he stopped using the Sky Sprint - Air Walk technique, his body unable to take any more. He tried to swim upward, each stroke agony, but he knew he had to reach the Sky Island. He wouldn't let his dream slip through his fingers.
Swimming upwards for ten long minutes, Jack finally reached the surface and took a deep breath. He looked around but only saw clouds in all shapes except for the white sea he was swimming in. Taking out the log pose from his pocket space, he started to follow its direction.
After what felt like hours of swimming, he finally spotted a massive tree-like structure. Excitement flared within him, and he pressed on, eager to reach the fabled Sky Island.
When he finally set foot on the island, he could feel the air was different; it was lighter, yet also thicker. The surroundings were alien to him, but it only fueled his determination to explore this new world.
As he ventured further into the island, he came across various strange creatures and plant life. He couldn't help but grin at the novelty of it all. He knew he was in uncharted territory, and it sent a thrill down his spine.
Jack sat on the soft shore of the Sky Island, taking a moment to catch his breath. His eyes scanned the unfamiliar landscape, his mind buzzing with the possibilities that awaited him. It was then that he noticed a beautiful blonde woman staring at him curiously from a distance. Her eyes were filled with wonder, and upon her back, she had a pair of wings.
As the woman approached, Jack couldn't help but notice how her gaze lingered on his back, where he lacked wings. He knew he must look odd and mysterious to her, but he didn't mind. He was just as curious about her and the world she lived in.
"Hello," the woman said hesitantly, her voice soft and melodic. "My name is Ponis. I've never seen someone like you before. You... you don't have wings."
Jack offered her a small grin. "That's because I'm not from around here. I'm from the Blue Sea below. My name is Jack."
Ponis's eyes widened in surprise. "You're from the Blue Sea? That's incredible! I've never met anyone from down there before. What brings you here?"
Jack leaned back, his eyes twinkling as he replied, "I'm here for adventure, and to explore the unknown."
Ponis's eyes lit up as she sat down next to him. "Adventure? Tell me more about the Blue Sea and your adventures there!"
As she began to bombard him with questions, Jack held up a hand to stop her after the third question. "Hold on," he said with a sly grin. "I'll answer your questions, but for each question you ask me, I get to ask you one too. And maybe, if you're lucky, I'll tell you a bit more about myself."
Ponis blushed slightly but agreed, intrigued by the mysterious man from the Blue Sea. They spent hours talking, exchanging stories and information about their respective worlds. Jack was fascinated by the Sky Island and its inhabitants, and Ponis was equally enthralled by tales of the Blue Sea and its wonders.
As the day turned to night, their conversation took on a more intimate tone. Jack couldn't help but flirt with the beautiful Sky Islander, captivated by her grace and the exotic allure of her wings. Ponis, in turn, found herself drawn to the enigmatic man from the world below, his calm and strength a stark contrast to the men she had known on Sky Island.
Jack looked at Ponis, his gaze intense but not overbearing. "Is there a hotel I can stay in on this island?" he asked, his voice low and controlled.
Ponis shook her head, her blonde hair dancing around her shoulders. "No, there isn't. Most of the people here live in their own homes or with their families."
Jack considered this for a moment, his calm blue eyes unwavering. "Would it be possible for me to stay with you? I don't need much, just a couch or a mattress on the floor."
Ponis blushed at the question, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. She hesitated for a moment before finally nodding. "Alright, you can stay with me. My home isn't far from here."
As they walked towards Ponis's home, the conversation between them became more flirtatious. Jack, despite his cold demeanor, had a natural charm that seemed to captivate Ponis. He would occasionally shoot her a sly grin or a teasing remark, drawing her in like a moth to a flame.
"So, Ponis," Jack began, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Do all the people of Sky Island have wings like yours? They're quite... enchanting."
Ponis giggled, her wings fluttering slightly. "Yes, we all have wings. It's one of the things that makes us unique. But I've never met anyone from the Blue Sea before, so I find you just as fascinating."
Jack smirked, his gaze locked on her eyes. "I'm sure you have plenty of admirers here, even without a mysterious stranger from the Blue Sea."
Ponis blushed again, her eyes darting away for a moment. "Well, I've never been interested in anyone on this island. They all seem so... ordinary."
Jack raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Ordinary, huh? Well, I can assure you, I'm anything but ordinary."
Ponis looked at him, her eyes filled with curiosity. "I can see that. You're strong and brave, unlike any man I've ever met. There's something about you that's just... different."
Jack's eyes flickered, the storm within them growing stronger. "Different, you say? I suppose I am. I've never been one to shy away from a challenge, and I've faced more than my fair share of dangers. But there's something about you, Ponis, that makes me want to know more."
Ponis smiled, her eyes shining with warmth. "Maybe it's because we're both different in our own ways. We both stand out, even in our own worlds."
As they continued to walk, they found themselves getting closer, their hands occasionally brushing against one another. The tension between them was palpable, and it was clear that the attraction was mutual.
