[ Four Years Later]
Alexia's Pov:
It had been four long years since I started my training with Lami. I'm still convinced to this day that Lami was trying to kill me and the girls.
I'm grateful for the skills and techniques that Lami taught us, but I can't help but feel like we were being pushed to our limits every day. I feel sorry for her pupils who trained with her for decades.
Lami told us about her past life, how she used to keep balance in a different realm and how she was pulled into this world when she was killed in her previous life.
It was hard to believe at first but as time went by, I started to understand that there was a lot more to the world than what met the eye.
As I continued to train under Lami, I noticed that my self-awareness and concentration skills had improved tremendously.
I began to understand the world from a different perspective and I started to see things that I never noticed before. It was like I gained a new sense that even science had no explanation for.
Lami told me that it was due to the cultivation techniques that she's been teaching us. She said that we could even gain immortality if we continued to hone our skills and cultivate our inner selves.
I was both intrigued and scared by the idea of attaining immortality but if I have Lami and my friends by my side, anything is possible.
I have learned a lot of things about Lami during the past four years. It turns out she had a brother who was also making waves in the sea. He is known as the " Surgeon of Death" Trafalgar D. Water Law.
He decided to sail into the Grandline a year ago and has been making a name for himself there. Last year he had a huge bounty increase after the scandal he caused in Arabasta. His current bounty is B 200,000,000 berries which is a staggering amount.
Lami also told us about her past where they were serving under Doflamingo who is a Shichibukai with a frozen bounty of B 1,340,000,000 and he is said to be as strong if not stronger than the Marine Admirals.
It seems Lami and her brother have matters to settle with Doflamingo in the near future. The thought of facing such powerful figures in the sea is exciting and terrifying at the same time. But I trust in Lami's training and guidance and I know that if I stay by her side we will overcome any obstacle.
It's amazing to think that Lami and her brother have been through so much in their lives and yet they still have the will to push forward and aim for the top.
When Lami's brother headed for the Grandline the underground organization that they established was left under her responsibility. The organization was named Cold Operations and it dealt with both illegal and legal trade and they joined hands with the Nova assassins.
Cold Operation is currently the biggest trade organization in the North Blue and it hasn't gone unnoticed by the Marines.
Speaking of the North Blue, it's been absolute chaos as pirate crews, merchants and even Germa 66 are fighting for dominance in the region.
The chaos forced the Navy to send a Marine Vice-Admiral from the HQ to maintain the situation and keep the civilians safe.
The Vice-Admiral became a nightmare for all the upcoming pirates causing chaos in the region. She was chasing pirates everyday even the ones that had high bounties such as Law, Diamond Head and the Exiled Prince Endo.
Lami is the only one with a bounty over 30 million berries who hadn't came across this vice-Admiral, I'm guessing it has something to do with the Navy not having a proper photo of Lami.
Lami's brother almost suffered a defeat at the hands of the Vice-Admiral when he was sailing toward the Reverse mountain.
Endo and Diamond Head formed an alliance in order to have a chance against the Vice-Admiral however, they suffered defeat and they chose to flee into the Grandline.
Lami and I have been keeping ourselves updated on the situation through various sources. Turns out Lami has a spy in Doflamingo's camp just like how he has a spy inside the Marine, it's funny if you think about it.
Lami has been working tirelessly to ensure that Cold Operations continue to strive even amidst the chaos. Lami is not someone to be underestimated especially as she managed to establish such an organization at such a young age.
Our time in the North Blue is coming to an end soon as we finished preparing everything we needed to do here. Lami trained a few soldiers from my kingdom in using Haki and strengthened ties with the Nova assassin.
My kingdom is probably the safest in the North Blue or the most dangerous depending on how you look at it. I can rest easy knowing that my people will be well-protected when I leave and pursue my goals and dreams.
Lami should be returning soon after all it's been three days. Lami tends to disappear once a month for three days. I suspect she has another woman for her harem that she goes to.
However, I trust she will tell me everything when she decides to share it with me.
Pov end.
Lami was currently on her way back from whoever knows where, the details of her where about were unknown even to her friends.
Despite her disappearances, Lami was extremely reliable and trustworthy especially when it came to her loved ones.
Lami made her way toward the castle where she knew her friends were waiting for her. As she approached the castle she noticed her friends standing outside waiting for her return.
" Tadaima!" Lami announced her arrival as she walked toward her friends a small smile on her face. Her friends greeted her back and they were happy to see her.
The girls walked inside the castle and went straight to the dinner table. Lami and the girls had dinner together and she informed everyone that they are ready to leave the North Blue and sail for the Grandline.
Everyone was overjoyed at the news and the king thanked Lami for everything she has contributed to the safety of his kingdom. Lami humbly accepted the thank you and reassured the king that she will always take good care of Alexia.
[ A week later]
After a week of gathering supplies and saying goodbye to the citizens of Dragonville, Lami and her crew were standing on their ship the Humping Bunny preparing to set sail.
The people of Dragonville gathered to wave them off and wish them safe travels. Alexia felt a lump form in her throat as she looked back at the kingdom, knowing it would be a while until she sees it again.
" Don't worry they will be safe, they have Tigru and Delta," reassured Lami as she put her hand on Alexia's shoulder.
Alexia nodded and wiped the tears off her face, " I know." " Lami, why did we leave Delta behind I thought she was also coming with us?" asked Amelia.
Lami sighed, " Delta saw this as an opportunity to free herself from you two," she said as she pointed at Amelia and Olivia.
Amelia looked surprised but Olivia smirked, " Well you can't blame her," she said, " However we're short on a member now," she added.
Lami grinned mischievously, " Don't worry about that I never counted Delta as a crew member when I said I have four crew members," she replied.
" Oh I see do you have someone in mind?" Alexia asked curiously. Lami smiled mysteriously, " You'll get along with her just fine, after all, she's also a princess like you," she teased leaving her friends to wonder about who their new crew member will be.
As the ship set sail, Lami couldn't help but feel excited for their upcoming adventure on the Grandline.
The ship sailed for a few days before they reached an island that Lami had marked on the map Liqueville. The island was known for its famous taverns and drinking establishments, making it a popular stop for sailors and pirates alike.
The only bad thing about the island was the tyrant king who ruled over it, demanding high taxes from anyone who wished to stay on the island. In other words, the people of the island were poor and oppressed by their rulers even though the island made a lot of profit from selling booze.
The Marines had no say on the island as it was under the World Government's protection. Most pirates no longer bothered coming to the island as there was a Marine base nearby which was under the Vice-Admiral from HQ.
However, Lami had a different reason for why she came to this island. As they docked at the port Lami noticed a ship with a unique design and the symbol "66" etched on its sail.
She knew that it meant that Germa 66 was on the island and her instincts told her that trouble was brewing.
" You guys can explore the island if you want but be careful of anyone with swirly brows and bright hair color," warned Lami as she left the ship with Alexia by her side.
Amelia and Olivia decided to also tag along with Lami and Alexia knowing it's better to stick together in unfamiliar territory.
The group walked until they reached a busy market filled with colorful stalls and vendors selling all kinds of goods. Lami scanned the area and saw a bar that looked lively and decided to head toward it hoping to find what she was looking for.
As they walked into the bar, Lami noticed a woman sitting at the end of the counter, sipping on her drink. She had short pink her that was covering one of her eyes and had swirly brows just like Lami told them about.
The woman looked toward Lami and gave her a warm smile that shocked Lami's crew. " Hoi Lami who's the pink hair giving you f*ck me eyes?" asked Alexia as she sensed the chemistry between Lami and the woman.
Lami smiled as she introduced the woman to her crew. " This is Vinsmoke Reiju, a princess from Germa Kingdom and our new crew member," Lami announced confidently.
"Man Germa is really going to come for my ass now, first I took their weapons and treasure, and now I'm taking their princess," added Lami with a chuckle.
" Nani! After you told us not to mess with anyone with swirly brows, you go and recruit one?" exclaimed Olivia as she was shocked by the sudden turn of events.
