Alicia's Confession

Soon, the car got there. The assistant opened the door, and Louis got in. The bodyguard put the suitcases in the trunk.

About half an hour later, they got to Mr. Boyer's house. Louis fixed his pants and hair. Once he looked good, he got out of the car.

The assistant went to ring the doorbell.

Louis cleared his throat, thinking about what to say to Alicia. He told himself to stay cool.

A worker opened the door. Mr. Boyer welcomed Louis with a warm smile, "Louis, why are you here? You should've told me. I could've picked you up."

Louis smiled a little, talking calmly, "I was in California for work and thought I'd visit Alicia."

"Oh, I see." As they walked, Mr. Boyer praised, "I've never seen a kid work as hard as Alicia. Once she starts, she doesn't stop, even forgetting to eat and sleep. That can't be good for her health."
