"Anyone?" he repeated, growing impatient.
No one answered him.
"Then I'll ask again," headmaster Clyde growled. "Was it you who destroyed the garden house?"
Everyone stared at Tristan, murmuring amongst themselves and wondering if he would say something.
After a few moments of silence, he shook his head. "It wasn't me. It couldn't have been."
Headmaster Clyde frowned, looking confused. "How can you be so sure?"
"Because I don't know how to destroy a building," Tristan retorted, causing the crowd of students to chuckle. "I mean, I guess I could try. But I doubt I could do it without knowing how first. And I don't think I'm strong enough to do it anyway."
'First step, confuse the enemy' he thought, grinning as people started chuckling. 'Next, give them an easy target.'
His smile faded as all eyes turned to him.
