The power of the blast didn't cause any conventional damage since it was an energy bomb. Instead of using an explosion, it created a controlled, destructive effect that obliterated its surroundings with extreme heat, much like a black hole swallowing everything around it. In this case, everything touched by the sphere of energy was incinerated, leaving only red molten ground.

Jim barely avoided the blast zone, thanks to his leg implants. Although the bomb could be thrown instead of set up, it was still in an experimental stage and couldn't handle much impact without detonating prematurely.

"Detonation confirmed. We had a delay of 4.15 seconds, but everything is within our error margin," Jim reported through his earpiece.

"Affirmative. The operation will begin as scheduled," the communicator responded.
