"Bingxin, do you like me?" Chen Tian asked after pulling away from their passionate kiss. 

Bingxin blushed, her heart racing with embarrassment. "Idiot, is this really the right time to ask that? Especially after what we've just... done," she stammered.

Chen Tian slightly smiled, his eyes filled with affection.

He knew what she meant, but even in his current state, Chen Tian still had the capacity to ask for her consent.

Because what's going to happen may change everything between them. 

He wanted to make sure Bingxin was on the same page as him.

He was still a gentleman, even if he couldn't control his little brother at the moment Chen Tian wanted to reassure Bingxin that he respected her boundaries and didn't want to rush into anything.
