Is there life after death?

Endrick did not know. He was still caught in the moment of euphoria of winning the world cup when he died, and even in death, the joy and sense of fulfillment did not leave him as he took it with him in death.

What he didn't expect was to see himself in a strange white world.

Everything seemed hazy to him, it was like his soul was being fragmented by the powers of this void but before his consciousness could fade away completely, he saw what seemed like a Monster Truck accelerate towards him.

With themes of green and red across its massive frame, with the drawing of skulls across both its sides, and with exhausts that extended from its sides like Viking horns, this Monster Truck seemed wild and untamed.

Endrick was confused. 'A Truck?'

The Truck sucked Endrick in and disappeared.

Blink!

Endrick woke up to see the familiar Monster Truck beside him.

"What the f*ck!" He jumped up.

"Where am I? Is this hell?!" He looked around in alarm.

Unlike what he expected though, he didn't see himself inside a lake of fire with souls screaming for eternity, what he rather noticed was that he was inside a workshop or betterstill a lab. 'A lab?'

As if feeling his confusion, he answered. "Yes, this is my lab".

"…!" Endrick felt his heart skip a beat.

The old man on a white lab coat turned to look at him. Standing beside this old man was a beautiful young lady with blonde hair, she was short, 4.11 or so. Her cute and tiny form gave Endrick sudden urges to grab and squeeze her tight.

He shuddered. 'Am I drugged?'

The bright smile that she flashed at him enchanted him.

"My name is Tokyo Sexwale".

"…!"

Endrick froze in shock as he finally turned to face the old man. He had a long face, and with his long white beard and white hair, he seemed like a naughtier version of Gandalf as he flashed Endrick a naughty smile.

"T-tokyo Sexwale?"

"Yes". The old man smiled.

'How messed up were your parents to give you such a name?' He thought.

The old man chuckled. "Interestingly, I never had parents".

He turned around and looked at his huge workshop and lab where he worked. "Most people don't know me by my name, some know me as the God of Reincarnation while most know me as the legendary Truck-kun".

"…" Endrick was even more flabbergasted now.

He may have been a famous football star in his previous life but in his free time, he still allocated some leisure time to read novels.

He turned to look at the Monster Truck. "And that?"

"That is me, I am me, me is me".

"…!" Now, Endrick was even more confused.

"This human form is just a temporary form that I and my assistant took to appear before you. I don't have 1 universal form; I change my forms more times than most people change their clothes in a year".

"Ok, I get". Endrick forced himself to calm down. "So, why did you bring me here? Can you take me back?"

"I will ignore your first question but no, I cannot take you back".

"Even if I can, why should I?" He smirked as he materialized a cigarette and lit it. "You should be grateful".

"Of the billions of humans in earth, fate shone its hallow of luck on you, making it possible that it was the exact minute you died that my machine powered up again after the last reincarnation cycle".

"Umm…, if I am getting this right, I don't have a choice?" Endrick gulped.

"Yes". The beautiful loli cheered.

Tokyo Sexwale turned his back to him. "Reincarnation is a mysterious power; I was born with it. To fully understand my powers, I need to practice with it and this is the reason why I work so hard to reincarnate people".

"I'll give you 10 minutes to come to terms with it".

"When you're ready, come for your reincarnation".

"Even if you're not ready, you'll still reincarnate".

'Gulp…' Endrick slumped to the ground in defeat.

He grasped his head. 'Am I really going to lose everything?'

'Such a fairytale ending. After 4 times of trying, on my last and 5th try, I won the World Cup trophy only to be rubbed off it by f*cking death'.

"I hate death!" He screamed.

"You have less than 9 minutes". The beautiful loli smiled.

'Well, it already went wrong, there's nothing I can do about it. I can only embrace it. Perhaps, in my next life, I may get the chance to right my wrongs and win everything all over again'.

'It all depends on my starting point this time'.

His eyes gleamed. "Tokyo Sexy, ahem…" He coughed. "Sexala, do I have the privilege of making choices regarding my reincarnation?"

"Yes, limited choices".

"Count me in!" He jumped up excitedly.

A few minutes later, Endrick was strapped to the reincarnation machine. The next moment, a blue screen shimmered to life before him.

'Wow, so many choices'.

While Endrick watched, fascinated by the choices, to his shock, the first choice was suddenly erased.

Sexwale spoke. "From the moment you entered the machine, your time started counting. Make your decision now".

"Why the f*ck didn't you tell me ahead of time?!"

He looked again and the 2nd option was erased.

"F*ck!" He no longer hesitated; he punched the machine.

[Choice registered!]

[Stabilizing target's mental condition!]

[Stabilizing target's physical condition!]

[Commencing reincarnation sequence…, please wait…]

As the machine gathered a mighty energy, forming bright rainbow colors, Endrick increasingly became more and more intimidated.

He turned to look at the smiling God. "Please, is the process painful?"

The God of Reincarnation just smiled at him. "Guess".

"Sh*t!"

As soon as the light reached its brightest intensity, new words appeared in the blue screen.

Endrick disappeared.
