Before she could get far, Dena caught up to her, an all-too-familiar grin spreading across her face. "Then I'll come with you!" she announced, falling into step beside her.

Zoe blinked, turning to her friend with a frown. "Why? You said you wanted to hang out here."

"Change of plans," Dena said with a shrug. "I've got nothing better to do anyway. Plus, you still haven't shown me your boyfriend's picture."

Zoe groaned, trying to keep the heat from rising to her cheeks. "Is that really necessary?"

"Yup," Dena said, grinning mischievously. "You've been so secretive about him, and I'm starting to think he's some kind of myth. Time to prove me wrong."

Zoe sighed, pulling out her phone. "Fine. I'll show you a picture."
