Chapter 271 BABIES 1

Alex stepped into the ward which held his kids, he walked up to the incubators placed in a corner of the room, he started at the three adorable babies sleeping so peacefully in there. He learned for the first time in a long time, they were so precious, before his eyes, all he wanted to do was hold them tight in his arms.

To let them know he is here to protect and keep them safe. To let them know they have a loving and caring father who would do anything for them. Alex couldn't differentiate his daughter from his sons as they all had one face already having their mother's fair skin color. The middle one shook her hands a little as if acknowledging his presence, and at that moment he knew that is his daughter.

"They do look like you," Nessa spoke from behind and the man quickly wiped his tears with his thumb, the last thing he wanted was to be vulnerable before anyone that is not Hazel.

"Congratulations son in law." She patted his back tenderly. Amidst her pain, and cries throughout the day, seeing her healthy grandchildren brought joy to her heart. It was like her sister was back again. Nessa stared at the adorable children sobbing lightly, she was so happy and so sad at the same time.

She knew Hazel wasn't yet aware that her aunt is dead, but no matter what, Amelia will still be family to her. Most times Nessa got jealous of their relationship it was still surprising to her, that Amelia would try to kill her daughter. She let out a great sigh, "Welcome to the world, my babies," Nessa said calmly.

Still staring at the innocent little humans which very much have their both parents' faces on them, Nessa felt a hand on her back and she met his gaze, flinching a bit. "Oh David, don't scare me like that." He chuckled lightly rubbing her back. His mouth was a bit swollen from the punch given by his son-in-law, but he deserved it.

Seeing Alex care so much for his daughter reminded him that he wasn't a good father to the girl. He should have been there for his daughter when she needed him, not when she was being loved by another man. Maybe if he did, she wouldn't need another man's love.

He was jealous of Alex, the man fought to be with his family no matter how many times David fought to separate them permanently. He felt so ashamed of his actions. It didn't take the entire Wilson family 20mins to arrive at the hospital, they all rushed to the wards where the babies were being kept.

Seeing the adorable babies, Maria and her mother-in-law sobbed lightly, this was the most shocking news they've ever heard, the same hazel they had breakfast with and also declared the next month her baby's month, is the same person that surprisingly just gave birth.

Everything happened like a dream, yet it was real. Carie sobbed too staring at the babies, she couldn't believe it either. What they always laughed and joked about was now a reality, the babies were as adorable as she imagined them to be.

.

Alex sat next to the woman in her ward, sleeping so peacefully, he felt like his thank you to her for some minutes now was not enough. He kissed her hands multiple times and her lips too, smiling endlessly. "I let my emotions get the best of me and hurt most people today, I'm talking about your father." He stated placing her hands in his.

"Why would you do that Alex." He heard her voice faintly, as her lashes flickered before fully departing for her blue eyes to come into view. Hazel blinked many times still trying to adjust to the light in the room. She smiled seeing Alex's face before her, she had missed him when he left earlier but seeing he was fine and okay made her so happy.

She darted her gaze around only to realize this room was neither any of the rooms she's been to before, this was a different room. "Where are my?" "Hospital." Came Alex's short reply. She tried standing but the pain she felt in her stomach had her lay back down. "Don't stress yourself, honey, your wound is not yet healed."

That's when her memory came rushing to her, hazel met his gaze terrified, "Alex my babies." She touched her stomach to feel it was now flat and all the discomfort she once had were all gone. Her body was back, yet her heart felt empty. She stared at Alex who was yet to say a thing to her with tear-filled eyes, "Alex what happened to them tell me." She sobbed.

"No no no no no, don't cry love, our kids are perfectly fine, you went through early labor cause of some complications." He said calmly kissing her hands, cheeks, face, body tenderly. He couldn't stand to see his love cry anymore, tears should stay very far away from his Hazel.

"Are they beautiful? I want to see them" He poked her lips tenderly, she finally has children and the only thing this naughty wife of his can do is care about their attractiveness. He smiled, Hazel is really something else.

"They're the cutest things anyone would ask of." She smiled at his words, "Take me to them Alex." "Not yet, love, the doctors need to check up on you first, maybe in the morning." He pressed his lips on hers.

.

Two bare feet paddled through the empty floor in the outskirts of the city. Xavier has never experienced this in his life before, if he ever thought Alex was an ordinary person then he was mistaken. The man is a dangerous person, the most dangerous person he's ever seen in his life.

If he ever gets out of this trouble alive he had sworn to never cross paths with Alexander Wilson, that man is too mighty to contend with. Xavier ran till there was no air in his lungs anymore, anywhere he crossed, he was wanted. Everyone wanted to kill him, even the little children charged when they see him.

He's been running for hours in no direction, he really didn't know where to go to. Stranded Xavier dragged himself out of the bushes to a clear road, he tried crossing the road when a truck crushed him to pieces.

Instead of ordering for his capture, Alex thought it was better Xavier died without his notice, he deserves it. If that man's still alive, he doesn't think he will be able to live peacefully with his wife and children.n.
