Ch. 13 Part 2

" Okay... we don't know how much the materials will cause along with your payments, will hundred taels be enough? if it wouldn't be enough just inform us when we visit so that we'll give you more. We can't come here everyday so we'll leave the key with you, after you're done with the shop then you'll start with the house too " Xiao Ling explained as he passed a pouch which contained a hundred taels of silvers to brother Song

" YanZhi gave them the key before leaving them in the shop to start their work... it wasn't that they trusted brother Song that was why they left the key with him and money, it was just that his whole family and life's work was in this county... will he be foolish enough to sell the shop or runaway with the money? " so... how did it go? " the village head asked them in hurry... the eldest son narrated everything from A to Z to his father not leaving a single information out

" so it means he has accepted all of you? " the village head asked still confused since YanZhi didn't give them a solid answer.

" of course it means he has accepted all of them... he did say he'd call for all of them later. Maybe he's busy for now so he can't start training them, and you know he's wanting to build. " mother Chen pointed out to them making them all sighed and feeling refreshed. " you kids since you've started worshipping master Yan as a master you should know how to talk to him from now on... he's no longer a brother to you but a master, you should be respectful to your master and his wife and your seniors. You shouldn't talk when you're not asked to and whatever you witness at his place should not be heard outside, you shouldn't listen to what others say about him.... the elders say a word to the wise is enough, I don't need to say anything else just take my advice and work with it and you'll soar higher than your mates " mother Chen warned and advised

" yes, yes, yes your mother is right..... don't disappoint me and put me to shame in front of master Yan " since they found out that YanZhi was a martial arts master they no longer addressed him in a friendly manner but a respectful manner.

At The Jun Family House

The Jun family were a mess ever since YanZhi separated from them... YanZhi who was the one who took care of most of the farm works was no longer with them. So when he left the weight fell on the rest of his siblings, Xiangzhi can't farm because of school and Chuntao can't help because she's being raised like a young lady from a wealthy family, Xangren the second son is lazy and can't do anything right, father Jun is old and can't work hard so the weight was left on Xiangyi the third son and Xiangli the fourth son to carry which makes them argue everyday in the house because the second son doesn't do any work when they go to the farm but eat all day. Things were getting harder and harder for them making father Jun missed YanZhi but he knew there was no regret pill in the world...

The wives of the second son and third son always fight in the house everyday because the third son's wife feels her husband is being exploited off by the family working him like a bull without pay. As for grandma and Du Shi they keep dying from the inside whenever the villagers gossiped about YanZhi living in a better condition after leaving the house, this morning there was another gossip saying the village head sent YanZhi four baskets of foodstuffs with eggs making grandma running to YanZhi's house ask for some by force but when she got there they had already left to who knows where. It pained her to the point where her heart almost stopped working...

Xiangzhi didn't know what to do with his messed family and there was no one he could blame but themselves... the arguing and the fighting we're distracting him from studying, the school gave them a week's time holiday and he's been with the family for almost a three days now remaining four more days to go but he has made up his mind to go back to the county earlier than expected since he couldn't afford getting distracted because of them... he needed to study hard because he wanted to take the examinations the next year.

By the time YanZhi and Xiao Ling got home along with Yue from the county it was around 11am- 1pm and was time for lunch.... Yue helped Xiao cooked a hearty meal for lunch and after they were done eating, YanZhi decided to start training Xiao Ling seriously and explain some things about cultivation to him. He had Xiao Ling sat crossed legged on the floor and he checked his progress

" Hm , little wife it seems you have talent for cultivation... you've mastered qi refining already and all the waste in your dantian are cleansed making the qi move freely " YanZhi praised making him delighted. " okay then let's train you how to use your qi " YanZhi added as he helped Xiao Ling up from the floor.

" I'll start by teaching you how to materialize your qi, I've already talked to you about fusing qi in objects but to infuse qi in an object you first have to materialize your qi... " YanZhi explained as both Xiao Ling and Yue listened very carefully and attentively.

" little wife try to materialize your qi on your finger tips... you can see the qi when it stays still at one place but you can feel it.... " YanZhi raised his index finger and middle finger attached as he showed them " do you see anything on my fingers? " he asked them

" no... there's just your fingers sticking together and nothing else " Xiao Ling answered confused

" that's right, you can't see it but I've materialized my qi on them. Yue should be able to feel it since she can already materialize qi and infuse. If you're good at using qi you can feel other's qi when they use it around you. " Yue nodded as YanZhi asked making Xiao Ling envious.

" but look at this.... " YanZhi made an action of slashing with his fingers slightly making a deep and long cut on the floor making Xiao Ling stunned " you see I materialize my qi turning it into a sword slash. " Xiao Ling nodded in understanding when he got a gist of what YanZhi meant.... he started to train materializing his qi with the guidance of YanZhi.

" little wife is right... keep practicing until you're good at materializing your qi freely... then you can even infuse your qi in any object for as long as you want, infact you can even leave it infused for years all you need is to cultivate and absorb more qi which you can use all the time and still have more stored in your dantian. When you use qi without absorbing it back your qi depletes. " Xiao Ling nodded hard as YanZhi explained and continued to train materializing his qi... he made up his mind to take every lesson which YanZhi gives seriously.

The next day they packed and locked the door and head up the mountain to YanZhi's sanctuary where YanZhi was going to craft the things he requested... Xiao Ling was also planning on going on a seclusion training.
