Up, down, left, and right. All directions were covered in pitch-black darkness. It was so dark that Lilith, Aqua, and Isla couldn't even see their own hands anymore, even if they brought them before their eyes.

"This is still within expectations, right?" Aqua muttered in a worried tone.

Her sight was completely sealed by the darkness surrounding them. If Erebus took advantage of their "blinded" state and attacked, then the girls would be unable to evade it for sure.

Lilith chuckled lightly, as if not fearing the darkness at all. "Stay close to me. You can still hear my voice, so you should know the general direction I'm in!"

Her vision was similarly rendered useless, so instead, she decided to close her eyes completely. The action itself doesn't mean anything, but due to her "sealing" one of her senses, her brain started to give more focus to her other active senses.
