Replying to a Letter

"What nonsense are you spouting? How can your mouth be so foul?"

Sun Yunyun was mortified by the accusations aimed at her. She turned around and was about to walk home when Zhu Yueju pulled her back. "You were the one who wanted to come out. How can you turn back just because someone says nasty things about you? Utterly useless, you are! Who hasn't had their share of awful things said to them in their youth? Sun Yunyun flinched. Turning back had been her first instinct upon being ridiculed. Already, she had spent more than a month hiding at home, refusing to step out of the house. The reason? Fifth Sister had skipped grades and entered university before her, and she had become a laughingstock. All her plans had gone down the drain, and she hid at home to avoid being laughed at by everyone in the village.
